I guess to start with I cut the stalks as high up & close to the buds as I could , because I only had 5 gallon buckets to work with . I think it would be easier to use low profile totes in the future .
3 five gallon buckets almost full of water , the first one gets 1 cup 3% peroxide added , second bucket gets 1 cup baking soda and 1 cup lemon juice ,& the 3rd bucket is only plain water to rinse with .
First bucket gets the bub submerged & lightly swished around in it 30 seconds or better , then on to the next cleaner & finally the rinse . I hang to dry where they can drip with a fan on LOW overnight . Proceed to dry & cure as normal .

I really wish I had taken pics & promise I will next time !

PS … I had to change the rinse water 3 times & it was NASTY !!!

I do believe in washing your plants. Your grow look good. Got nice and fat.

Well it struck home with me since my girls were under a tree part of the summer and I could see sap on my cola leaves I’m finishing them inside so I rinsed them with the hose nozzle on the soft spray whatever it’s called. Before I moved them inside

What were your concerns with yours and thanks for sharing the recipe
I’ve heard we all have traces of acid rain now from pollution
That was a beast just imagine if never topped 15’

My concerns was I sprayed for bugs alot in veg , & had a little bud rot last week , Plus the wife was getting paranoid about how big it was in a non friendly state . We had more rain here this year than the last 3 put together !

It’s been bad here. I’m happy. But it’s a little to much. Nice grow.

Not sure I understand the question , but if your talkin about the outside Painkiller XL , It was the largest producing girl I have ever grown . I spent all day trimming to prepare to dry ! Yesterday I de-carbed a 1/4 .
