Critical week 10 mostly clear trichomes and nanas

Hi guys

I need some advice

I’ve grown a royal seeds critical from seed and I’ve just gone in to week 10, the trichomes are still mostly clear with a few milky but the last 4 days I’ve started noticing a few nanas pop up and on close inspection I found a seed in one of the buds.

Can anyone give me any advice, should I chop of keep her going? The hairs are still white on a few bud sites too.

Much appreciated :+1:

Pictures help, but not all plants go amber with their trichomes or also when most do they are already in degradation .

Late stage pollen sacs don’t really do anything if say your harvesting in less than a week but if your running other plants that need longer then well there could be a problem.

But again pictures help, but likely the difference between chopping now and a week or two from now if you only have a few white pistils showing is miniscule.

Prob almost ready but need some photos man and like the other comment mentioned… some strains won’t go amber but just hang in the cloudy range until harvest

Royalqueenseeds calls it a 7-8 weeker. Probably time to chop, esp if you’re getting nanners… but lets see some pics.

Pluck off offending Bits and finish flowering as scheduled. That seed will most likely be a female dont fear it pop it and grow it out.Just dont breed with it it will show an increased tendency to follow the same path

Thanks for the replies guys

I was going to give her 10 weeks then chop but the Nana’s has got me worried along with the clear trichomes. I’ve got a blue cheese in the tent next to her at 5 weeks.

Cheers everyone :+1:

It’s a judgement call at this point.

I’d be inclined to call it done to protect your week 5 plant but it’s possible the damage has already been done.

They look good though.

maybe the light intensity is not enough, plants grown with non-professional LEDs for example tend to take longer in the flowering phase, with HPS it would have already been ready.
Pineapples or bananas as you say, the plant usually shows them late in flowering to ensure that the genetics continue, and a way to make the plant survive, I don’t want to generalize too much and say all plants do it, but it happens. In my opinion you will only have a few seeds without serious but minimal damage.

looks good to chop imo, also considering the 5 weeker nearby

And just to correct you ElChapo there are so many other factors that create alot greater differences if flowering time than just lights alone if on equal footing and what you may constitute as pro leds vs not, ill just avoid that rabbit hole for everyone’s sake  .

surely, there are many other factors that can influence flowering.:+1: I only mentioned one factor.
you could also bring a plant to bloom with a simple energy saving light bulb, but it will take longer. this is my intent the speech.
There is no need to correct me, if what I said is right. Maybe I did not mention many other factors, but the speech would be too long😏

It will take the same amount of time just be smaller.

Excessive Nitrogen can slow the finish, and make that dark green leaf coloration.

This is exactly my thoughts.
