Well everything I had in paper towels, are now in solos. Wonder how long I can go before I start more. A day? A week? Bet it isnāt 2 weeks. I need to start looking. I should wait for something in the mail to get here. Not sure whatās coming? New light on Tuesday. HLG Blackbird I want to put in before more seeds soak. Iām going to redo all the power cords, etc. Want it all nice and clean. I can take most stuff out ahead of time.
Back to the important stuff. What next?

I live where I can walk to the ocean from the house. I am grateful. My daughter and family live 40 minutes inland, and 50 degrees hotter today. Not exaggerating at all. Iāve seen 55 and 115 before. Iāll take my 55.

Forecast is only 100 today. The County Fair is coming up. Then itāll cook. I tell people itās the one time they. Can actually expect something to be āfairā.

I used to be a smart ass. OKā¦a worse one. Iād hear someone complain about something not being āfairā. Iād tell them the fairs in July. If thatās not fair enough, thereās a big one in Sacramento too. Go there and look for fair. I get tired of the folks who seem to feel entitled for some reason. Put in the work.

The last seeds I started are good. The ones I started prior I donāt trust to do well. Bad start. Seem stunted. Not tossing them yet. Starting more soon. My new light is hung. I need to move an exhaust fan some. Iāve got an idea Iām going to be quite surprised. Couldnāt find my phone for a photo. Later.

I am glad I have good air movement. AC Infinity T4 will get hooked tomorrow. Thereās a window right behind the tent I can vent out. Gonna need it. Things bright. Iāll get a good clip on to blow on the driver. I hate clip ons. Anyone find a decent one yet? Small. Oscillating not necessary.

A big bonus with the new light is safety. As the new light with the heat it is capable of is IN the house, today Iāll pick up a new fire extinguisher. Electrical issues scare me, which is good. So I eliminate them if possible. Like cobbled together lights.

Good call brother, better safe than sorry. Man that thing looks killer, helluva nice light! Everything looks great ! I keep hearing the ac infinity fans are great but they are pricy for a tent fan, Iām still looking for good clip ons 10 years later

for fire/safety purposes in all three areas of my indoor growing I have TS-1 temperature controls acting as high temp shut offs. If the temperature exeeds the high temp setting in any of the rooms that roomās controller trips the relay and the entire buildingās power is shut down.
I have often pondered building fire suppression systems into my rooms. Something that would deliver a massive amount of C02 to the room , essentially suffocating any fire.
reminds me thoughā¦ i need a new fire extinguisher and keep forgetting to pick one up. High temp shut offs are a must thoughā¦ everyone should have something rigged that kills all the power.

cool ! I never seen one of those before.
My idea of using a C02 dump coupled with killing the power with a high temp shut off relay would be in an effort to save the crop or mothers/vegging plants at least. Most other methods would probably kill the plants due to the chemicals in the fire retardant. I know that some high tech systems for labs and such use Halon gas but that stuff is probably not good for the plants either. A C02 dump wouldnāt be toxic to the plants although it would drop temperatures real fast. I do worry about fires , mainly from a fan siezing up and flaming out but I havenāt seen it happen yetā¦ hopefully never.

Thatās pretty damn cool, Iāve seen things along these lines but this is great, especially with kids or elderly, just throw the ball at it!

I was never really sure how well they would work but they gave me a small sense of security. Put those with a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector and hopefully itās enough
