All your plants look amazing! Nice spread of strains. It’s getting pretty close to February man! Will this be your first kid or are there other CrunchBerries Jrs. running around?

Man those look good. I think sometime this year I’m going to try and setup a 5x5 with a SIP or 2 and a scrog net. I feel like a broken record saying this sometimes, but these SIP grows look phenomenal!

Bake day. Didn’t quite get the spring that I had hoped for, but will try again soon. Not sure where I went wrong… Happy Sunday y’all!

Practice makes perfect! I’d still eat that with some butter and honey

I saw a useful chart on reddit for diagnosing stuff like this - pretty sure the giant bubble is a sign of underproofing… but idk. Looks like it was edible and probably delish fresh! Cooking up two loaves here of my 20% whole wheat sourdough today.

@CrunchBerries I have been wanting to grab some of those pretty soon, I hope they work out great for you. I have had many people tell me I absolutely have to get them.

yes, that Bog Bubble f1 looks amazing!

I’ve got exactly 15 seeds left of those, and plan to run an open poll on them this summer, or next.

Great job, really very nice my friend

Thank you, homie! I really appreciate your kindness and generosity!!!

If you do go that route, keep me in mind so I can follow along!

You are very welcome! It is a great honor to work with BOG’s genetics, and super glad we are doing him, and the genes justice.

I will put it out there when I do a run. Really considering a Sweet Cindy run tho. Seems Tappy covered the LSD, but I’ve not seen a sweet cin run. I’ve got 23 seeds left, and would love to parlay that into a thousand or so  - still hoarding others as well :open_mouth:

I’m sure it still tastes great though! Not sure how warm your house is during the winter but indoor temperatures can have an effect on your loaf while it is proofing, 65-75 degrees being preferable before you do the overnight cold proof/ferment. Are you baking in a dutch oven or cast iron combo cooker? Supposedly preheating the cookware for an hour before placing your loaf on it can help with “oven spring” and may help with the rise of the bread.

Really, baking with sourdough just takes experience, you will get the feeling of how the dough should feel, what your starter should look like, etc. the more you do it. Our first loaf we baked isn’t on par to what we can bake now. Have fun baking!

Hey bud, we keep our house at 71-72 degrees, but I would put the dough in my grow room to keep it warmer. I used a combo cooker and preheated for an hour at 500 before putting the loaf in. I followed this video and others as a guide

Not sure where I went wrong , but I’ll keep at it, till I get it. Definitely a fun, relaxing project!

What do y’all use for a seed starter mix? I’m a little gun shy to use my normal recycled soil this round after the last rounds issues. Thinking of picking up a bag of the BAS Heady seeds starter mix. Anyone tried it? Either that or I’ll just mix up some peat and EWC. Thoughts?
