Plz flower that plant out, personally id love to see what it does. I like strange plants like that one, but i understand too if you toss it. Talk about unique, never seen that before.
i will for sure, shes my favorite lol
Cool man alot times they grow out of the wierd shit. Time will tell, ill def check your gro out later.
Nice. Im still obsessed with chem d and hybrids. I love the terps you get, and strength.
This is the first direct chemD cross I’ve grown, I saw a report on this cross that was glowing… the t1000 is really nice from a plant or two i’ve grown of it. Should be a good night time high. I’m liking what I’m seeing from the plant so far, easygoing with good vigor. Got a few other chemD crosses in my order that look cool too - x GDP and sherbert. Of course the GDP cross is named Grandad’s D
my keeper of LA Kush/hb x Chem D does this. Crinkle weird ass leaves. It grows out of it though.
i actually just sacrificed that plant yesterday, because it wasnt doing anything in flower
but the other phenos which displayed similar, did bounce out of it…
Bubba s1 , I think the nutes were a little too strong for it. Other than that it’s going. Lately the universe has been dumping bubba hybrids my way. I think it’s a way to tell me to find that pain relief cut and keep it.
My guy at the grow store said it should grow out of it too and often these types of issues or similar unappealing traits made his favorite flower.
Nice lookin bubba s1 !
Hope all is well with everyone’s grows, just chuggin’ along here getting the formalities out of the way. All 4 mommas healthy and the leaf shine is coming around. Day 17… about 2.5 days in their new homes and adjusting accordingly. I love this game.
P.S the Sour O was not happy being constricted into a confined space… I can dig it… ME either.
I know some folks are scared of clear plastic cups… don’t be it’s a myth. Ya’ll keep them thumbs green.
A few close up shots before transplant, old camera bare with me
A little droopy and upset, she wants out of that small space immediately!
I guess I didn’t take a shot of the smaller WC… OOPS
@Smokey77 What kind of bucket system are you using?
@HeadbandMusicman
I had a headband (notso) x chemdawg 91 display similar issues after overwatering.
Ended up growing out like this
A mostly CSI tent pic
Pic with fan is front view. I believe this is 14 days into flower.
Front left 5150 triangle x chemdawg 91
Front right: headband (notso) x triangle
Back right: headband (notso) xchemdawg91
Back middle: irene kush fallen soldier
Back left: cake fruit from cannarado (wedding cake x papaya)
Very to interesting to see how each parent present itself in each cross. Also surprised with how different the irene kush fallen soldier is from the rest. Wish i knew the cross lol glad i kept clones. Its the most vigorous plant. Hard to pick what im most excited for. Triangle kush seems to be the dominant terp profile in those crosses. Also cool to see lots of triangle kush influence in cake fruit so far. Very similar growth but with more indica influences. All the kushes are very slow drinkers as usual but havent minded medium staying on the wetter side. Headband x chem drinks a bit more but is sensitive to wet roots
Nice selection there. I grew the Papaya Cake from Oni (same cross) and it was pretty good but Papaya dominant wish it was a little more evenly balanced or even WC dom. Surprised on the Irene taking off like that its usually a slower stouter plant, the male must be shining through.
Thanks, figured with the selection csi sends i should do a triangle of parents for my first run lol
All the other plants are in 4 gallon pots but put the irene in a 6 because of how she was growing.
Its funny in cannarado’s description he acknowledges its been done plenty of times but we wanted to do it again. Terps definitely lean towards kushy cake so far but theres a lot of other kush i could be smelling lol
I’ve been rockin these camo SIP buckets for awhile now. They are perfect for 3 plants in a 2x4 in 35 days from surfacing FLIP… the SIP. I’ll put the single plant in the 2x2 and 37 or 38 days… HIT the Lights. They are the best of both worlds, passive hydro organic growing at its finest. I used to work at a tropical plant house many years ago and we setup passive hydro wicking systems (spath plants mainly)back then. I’ve used wicking for a long time for vacation plants, but once I decided to go to flower with these … it’s all history or current…take your pick.
I bought a ten pack a few years back and I’ve used 7 of them numerous times. They do decent with the recycled soil I’ve been running, but adding more liquid available food in flower and they go nuts in these gro buckets. I’ve cracked almost 6 ounce plants with medium yielders with two plants in a 2x4, but anything bigger, I wouldn’t get these and build some 9gal HDX totes for some monsters. In my situation, 3.5 (low end)to almost 5 zones a plant is the perfect match for the buckets and shorter veg times. When I ran smarties (5 or 7s) for years, ten days longer to flip and 7gal were necessary with smart pots to get thicker buds which took up more soil too. No bad mouthing smarties here tho’… been great to me for many cycles. Keep them ladies happy and healthy. Be well.
