I’m learning this the hard way. I’m running oaksterdam og right now, they’re the worst three plants in my tent. Lanky, underdeveloped, poor quality. Thing is I KNOW that cut is fire as fuck as I’ve got it from the dispensary a ton. Everything else in the tent is happy but her. Pretty sure my nutrient or ph needs adjustment (jacks321 on flood table ph’d to 6).
Growing is hard, or at least can be. Some cuts require more experience and the ogs are telling me explicitly I’m a newb which absolutely hurts my ego
I read that as a comparison. Not sure he was saying it’s full of Terpinolene but is a love hate relationship like terpinolene tends to have with people. I read that like you either love or hate Mendo P just like you love or hate terpinolene
OGs are going to be lanky and generally not produce as much as most other strains unless you train them. You got to top, pinch, bend, supercrop, lollipop, if its not showing any nute burn up the feed, may lower ph by a pt or 2. If im growin indoor i try keep them seperate from other strains like gsc hybrids due to the size, feed, and # of weeks being a little longer. Make sure to monitor dryback times, she dont like to stay wet. Ive never grown OG under Leds and not sure how they do under those conditions. Should also be some feed charts directed towards Ogs floating around online, ive always upped calmag, bloom boosters, should start packing on weight toward the end.

I’ve grown quite a few OG’s over the years Indoor and Out, and they definitely pack on weight at the end, DO NOT chop early, you will lose crazy amounts of dank. Take her another week, I bet your happy with the results. Skywalker OG comes to mind, lanky, but buds everywhere and delicious. The only OG I’ve grown that had huge thick buds was Holy Grail way back when, she was my first pounder plant outside over a decade ago. Memory lane, we don’t forget the “Greatest Hits” over the years. Smoke the Kind and please rewind.

Im growing mostly kush crosses this run and its really surprising me how little water my Plants actually want. Most plants in the 4ish gallon pots i have (organic soil) usually drink 2-4 liters of water per day. However, the kush crosses im running now are closer to a liter or two every other day going into week 4 flower.
