The bloomington headband i ran was a sturdy plant. Nice side branching. Did not need nets or yoyos at all. Wanted everything i could throw at it nute wise. Did not remind of an OG at all. I tossed it. But, it was really nice smoke. I just dont think its a real headband cut at all.

Thats what ive read as far as it not being real headband. Not tried it myself yet but am flowering her now. Smells gassy so far. Seems like an S1 or hybrid, else its got the strongest roots of any 30 year old cut Ive grown.

On his listing for HP-13 he said that strain got the nickname “The P” partially from the smell 
so it makes sense he’d have fun using that name in crosses

I grew the HP13 x Bubba Kush and the Bubba Kush s1 seeds. The hp13 x bubba is not the same but it is very dank and small slow growing indica.

We used to get a ton of really good headband in my area 10ish years ago at this point. I remember it being a less intense sour D that made the ladies go crazy… much happier and euphoric focused effects. We always thought the headband effect was cool because you knew you weren’t getting bamboozled. At that time nobody lied about having headband because they knew theyd get called out
