i figured he just wanted to pat her down but it was a female officer, probably old crabby and ugly. that article is deliberately misleading tho, it wasn’t because she had a canadian drivers license it was because she didn’t also have her passport and supporting documents and was doing 17 miles over the limit. the prosecutor who dropped the charges also suggested everyone should carry their passport while driving in a foreign country.
