Current Events (NonCannabis)

I was saddened to see that Art Bell passed away.

I listened to his show (Coast to Coast AM) frequently, from 1984 until George Noory took over.
Don’t care for Noory.
But I did enjoy Ian Punnett on the weekends.

RIP Art Bell

Here is a taste of Art’s show:

russia suspending nuclear, rocket cooperation with america, ban US alcohol and tobacco. also giving russian companies permission to ignore US intellectual property laws (i thought they already did lol)

Another provision included in the current version of the draft is the proposal to allow Russian companies to produce various goods copyrighted in the United States or in countries allied with the US without getting licenses from copyright holders.

Any time he announces he is against something, it is inevitable that he must go and reverse it. He seems pathological about this.

I don’t know if EVERY time, 99. but in the case of Syrian intervention, we have words and actions that are completely conflicting. Anyone with a brain knows that Assad did NOT order that gas attack.

I try to follow, but the streams of conflicting information means you have to consume all of it, just to make an informed decision. Generally, I don’t trust most current leaders and few media outlets. There are few I trust as little as Trump or Faux News. They love the drama, not the logic. Putin is a tornado of dis-information who kills all in his way it appears. At least Kim Jong bad-haircut had some killer one liners.

I concur with Ron Paul on this subject, and most.

Who knows where in the insanity begins and ends anymore, right?

So we dropped the gas canisters on Syria as part of a false flag operation?
Or did it never happen like Russia claimed in LCs post?
Assad would never use chemical weapons on his people? Is that because his use of conventional weapons has been so effective at culling them en masse?

I don’t know what all the squabble is about. Everybody is doing just great.

Squabbling? Hell, I didn’t even say that those conclusions were wrong, but when someone has an opinion that differs from my own, I like them to explain their thoughts in detail so I understand where it’s coming from. I fully accept, up front, that in any scenario I may not have all the details.
I’m not into the circle jerk where everyone has to agree with each other, but neither do I shit on people I don’t like, or who hold opinions I don’t like.

The questions I asked were legitimate. It’s been claimed that the gas attack never happened, and that it did happen but it wasn’t Assad. Being a misanthrope, I never underestimate the cruelty of another human being, which leads directly to my other questions. If he would never do that, why would he never do that?

I am taking on a “news fast” until 5/1. I find these short fasts are healthy as I can clear the noise and stay on point. It finally got weird enough for me! :cowboy_hat_face:

are you reading The Free Through Project? They are totally skeptical of the gas attack. It is interesting that we launched the bombs the night before a 3rd party group arrived to investigate the attacks.

Here is an interesting column from a very mainstream, non-conspiracy source:

“cui bono?”

This is a biased and untrue statement, so you have obviously already made your opinion without investigating.
Assad kills ISIS, not women and children. I’m not even sure how you have confused this.

Send that link to @Worcestershire_Farms, LOL
He’s confused.

it seems like the US and Russia have a handshake-deal to use Syria as a bombing range so we can buy new ammo from our defense contractor friends. And within that agreement the US and Russia are squabbling and skirmishing over who gets to control Syria’s oil fields.

everything in the mideast is clan-based and ethnic/religious based, with nationality coming in last. The media never talks about the clan or ethnic divisions that actually cause the wars to happen. The real struggle is between the house of Saud and the Shiites & Iran.
