DALL-E / Midjourney AI Generated Images, try your hand

I wonder if there were any red/white striped shirts in any of them? I didn’t see one, but that was weird. Somebody will end up coming up with the most beautiful piece of art that the world has ever seen, just fooling around. This thing could end up being a really scary movie if somebody could make it.

This has been noticed by researchers …

Much of that has to do with the prompt. The prompt in many of the above examples does not change a bunch. Changing the prompt slightly can lead to huge differences.

Some of that also has to do with the training, not all of training image categories have a large number of images. In that way, the AI only incorporates what it has seen into the neural network along what it knows about them. If the learned knowledge is deficient, then the output becomes limited. There have been plenty of ideas consisting of fantastical subjects that exist in an alien / otherworldly constructed context.

Probably not unless luck is involved. The machine was probably fed a bunch of Where’s Waldo images but it does not know the significance of Waldo in those images. When it’s recreating them, it’s not actually thinking per se and it doesn’t know that there should be a single Waldo in the image.

What a badass program. Is it going to be released to the public? I’ve played with some other ai image gens online but they never come out as perfect as these.

This monstrosity for instance was supposed to be a golden retriever smoking weed :laughing:

Not just interesting. The variations make it kinda correct imo. As beauty/prettiness is always subjective. In the eye of the beholder and all that.

Whoa, I like those. The robots show interesting ideas of what they think they look like.

I was just looking at the surfing pics above and thought it was interesting how DE chose to have two friends/brothers in each pic, and mostly young. I was curious about what it would do with a simple prompt. I need to come back and bookmark those places.

There were some really top notch prints in Loki’s adventure. I mean hang on wall good. All done in a day. It’s still fascinating to me.

It’s nuts and AI will only get better until we become redundant to life lol

If you scroll over the images, you’ll see the filename. The filename is the prompt given to the AI. It’ll make sense then.

@Northern_Loki

This is so cool! Spent a while looking at these last night.

Is “cannabis” still causing flags?

You said that this is not free, but that you have credit with the creators/researchers, how much does each prompt cost approximately?

:pray:
