Is “cannabis” still causing flags?

You said that this is not free, but that you have credit with the creators/researchers, how much does each prompt cost approximately?

Cannabis leaf / cannabis plant doesn’t seem to be causing flags at the moment but I’m being judicious in it’s use because I’m not certain. Things such as smoking a joint triggers a strike. Smoking a cigarette does not.

Dall-e prompts are approximately 0.15USD each. You’d likely have to use several per attempt to generate something useable. Figure a dollar a piece … you’d get one or more usable images. For complex and weird prompts, it could be a larger number of prompts … of which there have been more than a couple in this thread. FWIW, I’m running low on credits at the moment, as well.

It takes awhile to get access to DALL-E and they currently vet who’s one the platform. I believe they give artists priority then it’s researchers in computer science or similar field.

I don’t know what the Midjourney’s rate structure. @the-bot may know. It appears that it may be easier to get on that platform, but I haven’t tried.

Both platforms are similar in concept. Underlying model architectures may be different. DALL-E uses a diffusion step while Midjourney may be doing something different. Midjourney has been getting better response in terms of capability / quality according to the community. In reality, there are probably pros / cons to each.

And, these two platforms are not the only two out there. I suspect more will come-online in the near future. Or, better yet, the models will be open-sourced.
