I love some pine terps! Been trying to follow along with both your journals. How is the hunt for pine coming?

Whats the size you ask, well I just happened to measure them. The tall one is 22” and the short one is 16” with a long summer ahead

Won’t know anything definitive until around mid July when I have most of the first group of TC x Xmas half way through flower. I’ve taken one clone of the new Xmas male. He’s far thicker and shorter than dad. I’m going to let testers grow out the best plants and I plan to work him into PTK and then back to TC x Xmas, then another batch of testers can give those a run to see where the search is at
When I’m ready, you can be one of those testing
Nice and stocky plant…helps give reference to size. I doubt it will get over 3ft at finish
Thats actually a perfect size for my spot. Unfortunately I have one in close proximity that’s pushing 4’, im thinking the tall Columbian gold pheno’s gonna do a little bit bigger than 3’
They are looking great
I’d enjoy that. It’s a pleasure to grow new pot. Good luck!!

Wow 13 days ago alread, heres a couple pics CG pheno.
I was just thinking how is everything going, and there you are
Yes CG has very high apical branching but structured well. I noticed how it’s spread out. The Xmas blends into the vegetation being short. The CG will be a monster come fall at this rate. Looks like you will get a good one there. Both appear to be doing quite well. Thanks for updating
Another 10 days and these just keep getting bigger, I’d have to say the Xmas pheno has almost caught up in height with the CG pheno, both a little taller but more width than height.
I was just watering and snapped a couple pics.
Not a lot of changes, can’t wait to see these in flower.
CG pheno
Wow! They have really spread out nicely. Yes I’m anxious to see how they do. The Xmas is throwing out some wide blades. The CG looks like a classic sativa. Doing exceptionally well outdoors. Glad you wanted grow them this way

Im really happy with these, I may cut a couple clones from both, grow them inside.
I’m very happy to hear that, and yes always best to take at least one cut. Re-veg is never guaranteed, so having that extra cut growing during the meantime is like a relief should it be a keeper. You never know when it is. Like the selfed TC I call marble, I only had one rooted when the seed plant budded out, but after I smoked it I felt glad I had a new mom ready for cuts again. Can’t wait for the weeks ahead
Hey fellas I’m sorry for the disappearing but unfortunately my Dad’s been in the hospital ICU for a month and it’s not good, kidneys and liver function and started him on dialysis and it’s just been a rough go but I have a big girl that for some reason has stalled and it’s just been a finicky in flower but here’s the CG x Xmas Bud 79 day 92 and day 32 since I flipped it to flower but I have pistils and preflowers and it’s just growing and growing up but I don’t know what is up but it’s not a Hermie no sign of nanners or nodes shooting balls and it’s just so frustrating too but here’s her now
just over 3½ feet tall and I had to move to flower room it outgrew the phototron lol but I didn’t do any training or top it but I wanted to let her grow naturallyNice @DrGonzo13, it has the fat leaves like the Xmas bud, I hope theres pine in your future.
@Greenfingers better to be safe than kicking yourself in the ass per se. I will say she bonsai’s well for space saving. Ahh pinewarp, I’ve had that from a dispensary once. It was nice too. Not particularly piney, but I picked up notes…maybe a PTK and Xmas could intensify it ? (Hint hint
)
@DrGonzo13 Ive been wondering myself, but I figured you’re helping with your dad and eventually we would hear. Good to see your girl fully expressed the Xmas, cause that’s definitely not CG blades. Those are humongous. Sounds like it got a height spurt from CG. You could tie that main top for like a week and get that bend then let it go to cut back the vertical rise. More nodes at an angle means larger bud size too. You’re doing well despite life difficulties. Can’t wait to see how it’s looking in the weeks to come. Thanks for updating
I thought these CG x Xmas bud would catch up to each other, both are at 44” tall looking like twins now. Heres a side by side.
I told ya you’d be growing monsters outdoors. Looks like I was right…all kidding aside, those are fabulous looking twins
This fall is going to be quite the show to see
