Well, I was a little delayed with beginning germination…so I actually began by putting 8 Plum Fairy seeds in moist paper towel at appx. 2:00 PM on Tuesday.
All 8 have cracked open nicely…at appx.
12:00 noon today.
Put all the seeds in styrofoam cups, then covered with plastic wrap and put under el cheapo screw in LED bulb. As soon as they begin to show a bulge in soil, they will go under the sun outdoors (assuming it’s not dark out).
Medium used is ProMix HP with a little additional dolomite lime.

Now… Do I pop 5 of each, or run just 1 strain? I may have missed it, but what is the M8’s lineage? I’ll be germinating these June 1st, after a camping trip. I want to give them my undivided attention. Lots to do before then, including a harvest.
Was the ProMix really dry when you bought it? Mine was. It didn’t hold water very well. I’ll mix remaining ProMix with Fert-I-Lome 50/50 to help water retention.

I usually buy the compressed 3.8 cf bales. Because I am in the boondocks this summer, I had to order the 2.8 cf loose bags from Amazon. The closest place to go buy and pick it up myself is almost 100 miles away.
Anyway, I have not had a problem moistening the ProMix, either the bales or bags. Actually the loose bag is a little easier to work with, 'cause I don’t have to fluff up the chunks I rip out of the bales.

M8 was one of the seedlings my roommate mixed up. Either Rockstar Kush or NL5. I think it’s another pheno of the NL I popped. Has a chlorine smell to it. One of the most sparkly ones in the room (not most frosty, but sparkles!) and has splotches of purple. Best I can describe the smell is as a lavender chlorine. Nose burner and very potent body buzz. Only pollenated a tiny lower bud on a lower branch so only have a few seeds but figured it would be fun to pass a couple packs around. Hopefully some knockouts are within.

Wanted to share pics of the Jager mother dried and ready to smoke. I’m getting a super fresh chocolate floral smell. Very potent stuff.

Wow, first one looks super Bubba. Really cool to see those traits popping out more so in this cross than in the Sakuras themselves. Second ones leaves are very similar to its Bubblegum momma. So excited to see what they do in flower.

The Pirates are doing great! I’ll post pictures soon. I topped 2 and left 2 natural. I have received my ful Power. The kids are about 19 days old. I am feeding 6 gr per gal MegaCrop. How much per gal ful power should I start them on and how often should I give it? Thanks in advance for your help my friend. These plants are amazingly vigorous!

I usually go 15-30mL per gallon. I go every to every other feeding. Maybe I’m lazy, but I like to do a watering with a feed… then a watering with just water. But this isn’t set in stone. It all depends on how they look and what it seems they’re asking for. Great product you have there. Looking forward to seeing the pirates!
Yes, 16 cover from build a soil and I got a 50lb box of rice hauls to top dress and mix into soil.

Unfortunately it is dark outside. But I have one emerging out of soil mix, and another
bulging expectantly. They will go under the sun shortly after sunrise tomorrow.
Appx. 31 hours after planting in soil.
