With a good source of coconut you should be able to make some coco coir to right ?

I am going to pay more attention to fallen coconuts after storms, especially during hurricane season. Some nuts will be rancid and useless. I was lucky to find this one near beach parking lot. I need a trash bag to carry several at once.

I’m not gonna retire my popcorn just yet :blush:

This coconut is full of water and doesn’t feel like a bowling ball. I would love to be able to collect a bag of coir. I have to pay more attention to debris after storms. I have crepe myrtle and the neighbors have pines and oak trees. Coconut trees are at beach, golf courses, public parks, trails.

I am 5 weeks post dialysis catheter surgery. I can shower and it’s easier to change positions. Soaking a package of Chitrali seeds from the Real Seeds Company in barley water. This strain has several phenotypes including narrow leaves and some may contain cbd. I am hoping for a variety of resinous flowers for medicine.

Cold temperatures are taking their toll. I have used heat mat and domes in a closet but keeping separate veg and flower areas is more difficult nowadays on a dialysis leash :smirk:

I cleaned the tent with LAB and hand vacuumed it. I have a 600w LED and will add another for flower phase. Its easy to run 2 lights off dual outlet timer. The tent can provide even temperature without drafts or unexpected overnight lows. I have a shorty gorilla tent inside a walk-in closet with a vent to the attic.

My chitrali seeds are several years old and not thriving. I have some Dank Sinatra x RSC Lebanese from Zephyr soaking in spring water with a shot of alfalfa sst. Ace Zamaldelica seeds are soaking in another cup. And so begins the dance of the landrace polyhybrids.

Plants are a bit messy after feeding sprouted mung beans blended with coconut flour; rehydrated alfalfa and kelp; insect frass; ewc tea and well water.

8 of the 9 plants show roots starting to fill soil. A bin of living soil will be blended with alfalfa, kelp, powdered oatmeal and LAB to prepare the next container for veg phase.

The dank sinatra x lebanese seedlings are looking great. I think you’ll find some really unique plants in those f1s. The landrace genetic diversity really seems to result in some special phenos with unique medical attributes.

@zephyr

Thank you for your generous gift. I will take good care of them and hope for viable seeds to share with you.

I popped 2 Blue Moon Rocks recently. The seedlings are responding well to the sprouted seed blend. They are watered with comfrey extract, LAB or well water. Most of the seedlings will be moved to nursery pots this weekend.
