I think I’ve seen you grow those before, yea? Mine grew really slow too. They’re nice plants though, and they have some great aromas.

This is my first time growing the RSC Syrian. I have grown the Sinai several times. This was the only seed that sprouted in a flat of Syrian and Sinai. Sometimes chicken, sometimes feathers…

Ah that’s right you were growing the Sinai before. Yea the Syrian I grew had some oddities too with sterile plants. It could use to be outcrossed I think.

Learn something new everyday. Do sterile plants grow pollen sacs and buds but never produce seeds?

I’ve seen a sterile male in one of bodhi’s 88g13hp hybrids. It looked normal but didn’t produce a single granule of pollen. it was the first male to show it’s sex, the flowers opened, and it didn’t pollinate any of the females. We took it out of the tent almost immediately (because it was weird) and put it on a big sheet of white posterboard to see if it made any pollen. nothing.

I had sterile males and females in the Syrian. I also had a runt male, which did produce viable pollen.

Soaking seeds in alfalfa sprout water in preparation for paper towels and ziplocks. The recruits are Maui Wowie, Ohelo Berry and RSC Lebanese. The feminized seeds were chosen for bud production. The Lebanese were purchased in 2016; if germination occurs they have the shortest flowering time.

Do you know if that 2016 lebanese is their reproduction, or stock gathered in lebanon?
You’ve grown this one before, right?

I’m always impressed by the germ rates you get with your well water and probiotic treatments. I had trouble with germination rates on the original stock and the real seed co in house reproduction, hopefully you will have better luck.

I really love the plants from that lebanese line. Super medicinal. I guess you might have some of my 2017 preservation seeds on hand, if you need to boost your number of lebanese plants.

I purchased these RSC Lebanese seeds in 2016 and I believe they were from a 2014 reproduction in Spain. I only grew your Dank Sinatra x RSC Lebanese and I have yout 2017 green mother and pink pistils mother seeds in the refrigerator.

I used the single female and 4 males from my first RSC grow to infuse coconut oil a few days before triple cardiac bypass surgery. The oil replaced the painkillers after I was discharged from the hospital. One teaspoon was better than 10 mg hydrocodone. The oil was made with whole plants, seeds and pollen using crock pot with Mason jar.

I saved about 60 of those seeds but most never sprouted or grew sticky runts with small buds. I am soaking seeds from another RSC Lebanese pack purchased in 2016. I will finish them before starting your 2017 Lebanese seeds

My first crop of RSC Lebanese plants were soaked with resin. I had read about a Chinese surgeon from ancient days using cannabis resin and wine as anesthesia for surgery. I hope that I bookmarked the sites on my laptop and will post if I find them.

Meanwhile here is an excerpt from Psychology journal:

During the second century A.D., the Chinese surgeon, Hua T’o, began to use cannabis as an anesthesia. He combined cannabis resin with wine (ma-yo) and used it to reduce pain during surgery. He performed painful organ drafts, resectioning of the intestines, loin incisions, and chest incisions while the patient was anesthetized with ma-yo.

I decided to make my version of pain juice for post bypass pain. Doctors prescribed low dose opiates and it is useless against having your chest cut open. You are given 30 pills and have to see doctor for new prescription. I made 2 honey bear bottles and a small mason jar from the Lebanese plants. It lasted several months and gave relief :relieved:

I added RSC Sinai and Mazar-i-Sharif to the last jar plus coconut oil to stretch my supply. I was lucky to have several plants growing before the surgery and dried and jarred the Sinai and Mazar-i-Sharif when I was able . The RSC plants are not 100% for germination and growth but when they produce its fantastic.

I’m a novice at growing and I greatly appreciate your expertise and generosity.

Maui Wowie, Ohelo Berry and RSC Lebanese beans were soaked in alfalfa sprout water for 24 hours. Seeds transferred from plastic shot cups to paper towel. Place folded paper towel in ziplock and spray well water inside ziplock. Seal ziplock bags and store on cable box.

And so it begins…

Looking forward to watching these, have MWCB at 2 weeks about to go to veg… holding my Ohelo Berry for now…

Maui Wowie are showing root after 48 hours in the Ziplock Spa. The seeds with longer roots will be moved to cups of soil under T5HO light.

The Ohelo Berry and RSC Lebanese have not rooted as yet.

4 of 5 Maui Wowie were planted in cups of living soil blended with coco coir, well water with calmag and oyster shell. I sprayed the top soil with well water. I used snack ziplock and rubber band to make a dome for each cup and placed cups under T5HO.

The Veg Closet is shared with the Dragon Blood Hashplant male and the young Syrian.

Alfalfa seed sprouts water was used to wet paper towels holding unpopped seeds in ziplock. A few of the RSC Lebanese seeds have cracked seams in shell. The Ohelo Berry is playing possum and the last Maui Wowie is playing hard to get. A warm bath is a tough opponent.

The sprouted alfalfa will be blended and a small amount applied to the Maui Wowie seedlings; 3 of 4 have lifted their heads from their dirt naps. The remainder of alfalfa sprouted seed tea will be given to outdoor garden and compost bins for heat.

The unpopped Ohelo Berry and Maui
Wowie seeds were buried in a nursery pot sitting on windowsill. The 6 cracked and uncracked Lebanese were put into a single cup of soil under T5HO. The 4 Maui Wowie seedlings need more soil to cover their stems.

The next candidates for germination are from (1) Overgrow: Skunk 91 and Nepali Temple #3 F2; and (2) RSC: Turkish.
The seeds are in their soak cups and the alfalfa seeds are soaking in well water with calmag.

4 Maui Wowie seedlings. The runt was growing with tap root pushed above soil. I covered Dopey’s root with soil and removed the ziplock domes from all of the seedlings.

Last of the Blue Moon Rocks to be cut and dried. The plants were small due to approximately 30 day veg; most of the ladies grew into a single cola during flower. The smoke is relaxing with a bit of euphoria on inhale, light case of the munchies and relieves pain associated with daily dialysis.

The Red Tent will be cleaned with LABS. The Syrian is at 6 weeks veg and will be next candidate for the Red Tent. Looking forward to the variety of hybrids and landrace in next round of candidates for the Red Tent.
