Moved Maui Wowie 1, 2 and 3 to flower tent; plants are short and branching nicely. The Syrian continues to flower slowly and drop lower yellowed leaves.
Several sprouts noted in seed starter pots. 2 new stems growing in ginger plant. Might have some interesting pictures in several weeks after the seedlings finish playing musical chairs during winter germination.
There’s about a dozen unsprouted seeds in the seedling pots. Started soaking Maui Wowie, Maui Mango Haze and Headband x Vanilla Kush in shot cups of supplemental water. Started a half gallon jug of banana peel tea for the plants in flower.
I’m going to see the Wizard for the covid vaccine tomorrow at the Mayo Clinic. I had a severe anaphylaxis to heparin in 2004; its advised to take the covid vaccines at a full service medical facility. I have been going to the Mayo since 2013 and no problems
That’s great to hear, hope your appointment goes well.
My doctor is trying to arrange an appointment for me to get the vaccine at a dedicated medical facility, and is requiring 30 minutes of monitoring for anaphylaxis.
Weirdly they are giving most people their vaccinations at the basketball stadium here.
They gave vaccinations at the county fair grounds here last month. Mayo Clinic is using an auditorium on campus. I guess the large spaces help with social distance.
I hope you get your appointment ASAP. I received a call today saying that I could be vaccinated tomorrow. Expect the unexpected
6 of 8 Maui Mango Haze seeds are planted in soil blended with barley sprout water. Top of cups were sprayed with supplemental water before applying ziplock bags as domes.
Seedlings developing leaves are 1 GSC x Bubblegum, 3 Maui Mango Haze [MMH] and 2 Shiskaberry [Kish].
There are 3 small Maui Wowie plants in flower. I cannot load pictures of the third plant due to server delay. They are just starting to show sex and beginning to stretch.
2 of the 3 Maui Wowie in Red Tent are male and were evicted to theVeg Closet.
3 Maui Mango Haze and the GSC x Bubblegum seedlings were moved to Red Tent in solo cups. The plants that are female will be repotted to continue flower.
I will be popping sativas after the last group of hybrids sprouts. Not certain of the percentage of sativa in the Maui Mango Haze so let them express themselves under 600w LED on 11/13.
One Maui Mango Haze seed with tap root was planted in solo cup. The remaining seeds without tap root were dumped in the ginger plant. More seeds will be selected and soak tomorrow.
Starting multiple seed sprouted tea in well water. 1 tablespoon alfalfa and 2 tablespoons each of barley, buckwheat groats, corn, fenugreek, lentils, mung bean and pigeon pea.
Update: seeds starting to grow tails in their shot cups. The coconut sugar is derived from coconut flowers and contains a lot of minerals. The Sinai and Zamal seeds were harvested in the Red Tent 2 years ago. I have no idea how old the RSC Congo seeds are.
6 of 8 Congo seeds have cracked seams with root showing. They are ahead of the Zamal [5 of 8] and the Sinai [3 of 8]. Some seeds should be ready for seed cups within next 2 days.
The Zamal hybrid was produced by a US grower who traded seeds with a grower on Reunion Island. RSC has mentioned Zamal but I have not seen it for sale yet. I got a few seeds from the first Zamal hybrid grow.
I want Congo seeds and hope for another Red Sea Sinai; half a joint between 3 adults was hours of bliss. The bud dries to a red color.
I don’t know if this Congo will be the same as the one I had years ago but if it has similar energy it will surpass all the sativa dominant strains i have tried in the last decade
I’ve heard that about Congo strains. Along with Zamal and Malawi Gold, people seem to talk about their experience with Congolese as being very energetic. I have some pointe noire seeds from Beno. I really hope to get to them soon.
I worked in IT for mostly financial and legal firms during the 80s through 90s. I smoked African sativa and Indian ganja for clear energetic high. The sativa was great for working long hours or hard labor.
2 of 3 Maui Wowie plants are male. I noticed the male flowers cluster around the stem versus growing individual branches like other male cannabis plants.
are these the attempted femenized maui wowie from sebring that everyone keeps finding males in?
I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with these seeds before I grow them.
