Hey all I’m at day 30 of flower and I noticed some hairs orange and instead of sticking up straight some of the hairs are shriveled already turning back in instead of up straight ,is the light to close? I’m at about 780 ppfd oh and it’s a dark star dwc it’s a 70 day flower and in dwc about 950 ppm 5.9-6.4 ph lights are 14 inches away I notice
Don’t think you have a problem. Looking at your photos, it looks much like my BOG Sour Bluooth at day 30 of 12/12. If pollen had gotten to them, the pistils would darken and shrivel in a different way. Burn would be obvious and would have affected all the pistils at the top of your closest (to the lights) buds. Excessive contact with hands, tent sides, and the like can cause pistils to do that, but I’m thinking this is just part of your strains lifecycle. Starting to see the “frost” building . Let’s see what others think…
Not seeing any light burn either. Looks good from here. I’d agree just normal flowering and nothing to be concerned with.
Some of the leaf tips are burned but only at the very tips but that could be nutes also the light was a lil too low, I raised it up and my whole calculations were wrong because I looked at this stupid Lux to ppfd meter calculator Convert Lux to PPFD - Online Calculator | Waveform Lighting and I was trying to get 30,000 lux but for my light 45,000 lux equals 790 ppfd even tho it’s a full spectrum idk how they get there calculations because I watched a video of a par test with my light on youtube matched the distance up and looked at what my lux meter and it read 45,000
Your leaf tips look like a lil nute burn to my eyes, my flowering girls at about 12-14” from my led, no issues, some nute burn at the very tips of my leafs. Better safe than sorry though at 4+ weeks of flower!
They look just fine lower the ppms (less fertilizer)
They look very happy
Just let them be
I know it may sound weird but I swear it only happens to me under LEDs because it’s an intense direct laser and hps is a bulb
14 inches could be a bit close but it doesn’t seem to be causing you issues. The burned tips are probably a mild nute burn but don’t be too concerned as they are close to where they use the most fertilizers. At this stage in a DWC take good care of the airing since roots would be big and airstones might clog with time. Maintain fresh and clean ferts, maintain humidity at later stages, and don’t rush the harvest, and you should be rewarded Good Luck!
Those plants look pretty damn good. May I suggest do a little less. Tad less nutes and leave them alone. Your over thinking it.
These ones are better I read that there not supposed to shrivle back like that on day 30 of 70 there supposed to curl back
Looks great
