When planting directly in the ground a three sisters methodology is incorporated with the herb. Marigolds are planted around or in between rows for pest control and a ground cover of Allysum is also used to help retain water and nutrients and to also provide nitrogen back into the soil. We’ve used this for vegetable gardens alike… next season on a meadow grow I will incorporate it into the fold.

@drgreensleeves I didnt realize stinging nettle also provides silica. I have some that has naturally settled in my yard grows alongside my greenhouse. I believe it was a higher source telling me to use as medicine for my daughter (seasonal allergies) and a strong N booster so I have harvested it a few times this year and gone into a 3 yr old FPJ ive been working with.
