I gotta check my old units. Iā€™ve been running 3 different 70 pint units for 10 years with no fires but they are all brands listed,Iā€™ll take money back and get new ones if possible

lol in the picture is one of mine, the ones thats always goofing up, but it is like 9 years old now, but has always had problems.

I have a portable LG AC thats on recall and they created a website that says the process is real easy. Can do it online. Online portal lists a phone number to call. No one answers. No one calls back.

Fucking joke. Ready to go to social media.

Luckily my unit is not on this list, but I am relieved to see that some people were able to catch that theirs were and can exercise a higher level of caution or stop use altogether until getting new units. Stay stafe everyone.

Yeah I had one still in the box without receipt so couldnā€™t prove age. My daughter took it and put it in her basement.

For recalls, they usually can go by serial number ranges.

Seriously though, these things are manufactured by the same company and are re-branded. This would be like the second or third recall for ā€˜fireā€™.

How many of these consumer/residential dehumidifiers are ā€œmadeā€ by Danby? I think they might ā€œmakeā€ the Midea brand, as well.
