I have a few freebies, and I’ve thought about purchasing some of their seeds, but I never have. Was thinking about buying one of their most recent releases, and more I think I might.
I’ve always been intrigued by them on the attitude. Thanks for the tip! Always looking for unique gear.
I like a lot of what he says. His philosophies are similar to mine. I really feel like he is the most significant breeder that still breeds for consistency with intention. Definitely #1a in my book.
Yeah his 707 OG is known as probably the best OG in seed form, and I’m figuring crossed to TK it can’t be half bad. A buck a seed for this is bananas. Many many people sell untested crosses light immature seeds for 100 for a ten pack, but he’s selling 100 for 100? And they are not seconds. The beans are fully dark. Every one of them. Two full pucks. One of the best deals out there.

Just dropped by 707 seed bank’s website. Bulk seeds are now on sale for $80/100 seeds. TK x 707 OG is sold out, but they have Wifi x 707 OG and Malawi x 707 Chemdog.

I got a little impatient with the Elfinstone seeds and planted the two worst looking seeds on Thursday. No special treatment, straight out of the bag into the dirt. I found this when I checked on them this morning
All the rest are planted now. I’ll start a thread when I get the co-op approval

The GSC in my backyard is almost ready to harvest. Not much of a looker, but it’s got that signature Pure GSC smell.
Really, there isn’t much pure GSC left out there at this point. The original was so damn good that it changed weed forever. But for at least ten years now, very few people smoke the real thing. Everything is a cross. I bet most people have actually never smoked it pure.
And it’s just the best.
None of this new shit compares to the real deal.
But you can’t even get a real clone of it anymore. Even those got back crossed somewhere along the line. The cuts died off in the hands of the rookie growers or got infected by something else in the room.
The only source of verified pure GSC on the market is CSI Humboldt. That’s where my Pure GSC cut came from. Smelling her in flower today reminded me of this, so I picked up another pack of CSI’s S1’s.
This is a real classic, a real gem that very few people are going to hold pure when CSI no longer sells them.
A pack to add to the collection, for sure.

That’s partly why I think so many people hate on cookies with a passion, I remember forum cut being damn good when it first started circulating. Thin mint and animal cookie were pretty nice too.
Then once it was so popular and dominated the market, I feel like the real original cuts were held pretty tight and watered down crosses and BS renames gave cookies a bad name.
Not too different from the OG heyday prior to cookies, there were amazing cuts and the real deal was fairly readily available and at some point it was like finding a needle in a haystack between the commercial rename game and countless outcrosses being sold as the real deal.

Most definitely. And things like Swerve putting out “Girl Scout Cookies” claiming it was real, but a cross to Bubba or something.
So true. When people started chucking anything into OG, not selecting a plant, and just calling it Whayever OG ruined the whole concept of a stinky, pungent, potent OG.
I think with both cookies and og, the originals are so good, and crosses look similar, but they just aren’t the same. It’s such a genetic miracle that those combinations ever came to be, and basically any changes to the genotype will certainly change the phenotypes.

I’m going to pop the Early Frost just for fun. Might even hit it in the Grandpa’s Breath pollination to pump some vigor in there.
On that note, the second GB male cut has rooted nicely. The third died. Good news is that they seem more vigorous as clones than I remember GB being.
Gonna get some of the v4 popped this weekend.
Also, final two Tardis are slow getting going, but tails popped out today. We’ll see…
