Diet Peps’ Pipe Dreams

Yeah man. Give those a shot. I havent been disappointed with anything of theirs i have grown out. Good scents, flavors, and buzz. Autos and photos alike.

Locked in on your mention of GB being a slow grow. The original male is healthier now that i took a clone.
I took it and limbed it out today too. Its growth was all bunched up. Laterals entagled with each other. Better airflow now. Better light penetration. Will see how it responds to the additional mutilation.

I’m glad you got 2 male clones rooted. 2 for 3. Good odds for continued success with the project.

This guy is getting ready for some action. Sour D x DLA 5. Hitting its sisters and Sour D for a shot at a backcross.

A little more warmth has really made everything pop this week!

Got some solo cups to up pot today. Also hope I can improve my shelving in the tent, remove the golden tiger plants from the flowering cabinet, clean it real good and fumigate. Also need to harvest the GSC that has been flowering in the backyard since February before it gets blasted by the sour DLA males. And hopefully I can start forcing the sour mother because I’m already probably going to have to save pollen to hit her. Should’ve started her sooner.

SC Goat Farm saga continues: Lost the one beautiful terp queen seedling over a week ago. Just keeled over. Not fell over like damp off, just bowed over and died. Probably through my mishandling or I get the feeling that those seeds aren’t adapted well to my hydroponic system. Then, after about ten days, the fourth seed, Category 5, popped up out of the rooter. She’s in soul now and thriving.

Tardis project is still alive. Will update today on its thread, with good news.

Three Grandpa’s Breath v4 via @terpnbird are soaking right now, with some lightly concentrated humic acid. Hoping to get one or more females, and at least one female from the remaining two v1 seeds. And to make a more vigorous cross called “I’m Not Grandpa” or something like that

Three fast flowering seeds all popped. They should be good fun to grow, even if not to smoke. Probably just hash em.

…And the baby is a girl

Have a nice Saturday, friends. Take care.

What’s up everybody!
Getting caught up with this thread.

Sucks to hear you got the aphids.
I had them bad for a while.
I tried captain jacks, johnnys one & done, citric based sprays, Castile soaps, Monterey/ spinosad.

None of those worked. I had to use Pyrethrin. Edit: I was wrong, it was Azadirachtin that solved my problem.

1-2 oz per gallon of H2O. Spray tops and bottoms of leaves. Repeat 3-4 days later.

It knocked them out completely.
Do NOT spray in 12/12! Only veg.
I have read that Pyrethrin is very bad for you when heated and inhaled.

I’m really enjoying what you got going on over here.

Edited to add don’t use Pyrethrin on plants that cats or dogs can get to.
It’s poisonous to them.

Azadirachtin is the correct product to use. Not Pyrethrin.

I make a hot pepper extract that I use on my veg plants that aphids seem to absolutely hate between my homemade citrus ferment and hot pepper spray along with some captain jacks seems to work good for me

Pesky little fucks I find from time to time on my outdoor vs @Uprangewilly

Gotta catch up in here been gone for a few months

Thanks @DesertHeartGardens
I took a screen shot of that recipe.
If I ever have the misfortune of getting aphids again I will try it.
I would much prefer a more natural solution than the Pyrethrin. It’s a last resort.

Same here.
Between being super busy and making a conscious effort to reduce my daily screen time, I have been trying to catch up on so many awesome threads and grows on here.

Damn you internet! Damn yous to hell! Insert fist shaking emoji
I remember a time when I used to get bored.
Oh the good ole days.

@blowdout2269 I never even considered an increased amount of anxiety. I’m sending good vibes buddy.

@Uprangewilly and @DesertHeartGardens good to see you guys!! Was just thinking I hadn’t seen you guys for a while. Man, do I understand busy!! I probably should be reducing my screen time. (Actually I have, but I can’t resist checking in.)

Thanks for your experience with aphids. For now, I’ve got them beat with soap spray and suffoil x. Haven’t seen any sight of them. Still going to mix up some hot pepper extract. Thanks @DesertHeartGardens.

Only problem is, I should have sulfured first. Going to have to water them down at flip/outside, then sulfur a few days later. Last year sulfur did the trick against pm, but I guess it’s not compatible with oil products.

Take care guys :v:

Just gotta say it…. If Atlas Seed is everything they claim to be, I’m about to be a big fan. I totally agree with the select and inbreed philosophy. Gonna run this Cheetah the Hut. Meh genetics, but quality breeding shows. I swear that’s why Humboldt Seed Co actually has very good gear.

Now that Tardis is popped, and it might be a waiting game,as s I’m likely going to have to clone the females to have enough seed plants, and I’m working on finding a grandpas Breath female or two, using seed testing of course, I’m left with a little break in the action.

I’m contemplating whether I should embark on this super rad, very important project that I’m planning, or if I should prepare another interim pollen chuck. I’m sending nine sex tests today for the outdoor plants that I will give to my brother in law, neighbor, and hopefully others around town.

Inevitably, there will be some males in there, and they are all excellent candidates to be a father: VCA, Going Back to Cali (straight up piff smell), Lavender Limeade, and Herijuana. If I get a male of any of those, maybe I will sneak in an early summer pollen Chuck.
