Diet Peps’ Pipe Dreams

I don’t know that there are issues. It’s just that I tried one and it didn’t pop years ago, so I never tried another.

My new seed popping method is to make a holder out f a thin piece cardboard. Search the word cardboard in this topic and it’s explained.

Hi friends

Been gone for a few weeks, focusing on some things around here. Posting on og is fun, but it can get pretty deep talking about this plant and this life. I’ll probably be in and out over the next six months, but I’ll never be far. I will try to bath up on private messages this week, but sometimes I can’t get swept up in the world of cannabis that I love so much.

Quick updates:

-Tardis is starting to drop pollen. Expecting small harvest, but enough to keep the line alive.

-Outdoor gardens are spectacular! Goat Farm’s Category 5 is a beast. To be honest, Cheetah the Hut from Atlas is bonkers. Pretty obvious to me though that it has auto genes made photo. Grows like an auto; hope it doesn’t smoke like one. Both Kwik Seeds plants are beautiful native plants. 92 Thai x Afghan sativa is surprisingly a little Afghani Christmas tree with narrow leaves. The Keik Seeds Colombian 90 x Michoacán 78 x Colombian gold is a giant sativa weed that looks like Mexicans I grew from 98-05. Can’t wait for that! Woodhorse Herijuana also looks like a little (topped) Afghani with narrow leaves. She didn’t leaf up so well. And her color is off, so I’ma little worried.

-Going to get back to trying a couple more Grandpas Breath seeds this week. The boys are still looking great, but they could just decide to shoot their load any time. If that happens, I’m going for full collection, I guess.

-It’s time to mention my next project. A couple years ago, I used a selected More Cowbell Minty Dub male from @bigzach87 to pollinate GSC, FloRida x F1 Durb, and Bando.

Over the last couple years, we’ve been growing the Brutal Poodle line with great reviews. They have shown remarkable consistency and quality. We have seen two main phenos, one clearly GSC dominant and one is more HP influenced.

My boy kept a clone of the one he is flowering, and she’s really ticking all the boxes. Super frosty already, barely starting to flower, but nice, open structure. We call that the #19

The plan is to reverse #19 onto a tent full of clones I have been collecting and popping.

Here’s where it gets fun. I see this as a milestone project. There are tons of classic genetics out there that we loved, but now they are just iold. There are things we remember or remember hearing about that are beloved, but nobody really wants to smoke them anymore. Just like old tv shows; we loved them, but watching the old shows today just doesn’t hit the same.

That’s why they do reboots! People love some things about the old show, but they are old and just don’t hit the same, so the reboot it.

Well, to be honest, I can’t reproduce all the old seeds I have, and nobody would want them.

But I can reboot them something really cool and modern. “Brutal Poodle makes some doodles”

So, I’m studding out my dog. Invited to the schnoo-kaki are:

Neville’s Haze

Lots of Zkittlez

Hindu Kush

Old DJ Short Blueberry

ZDF

Midnight Mass

Yumbolt

1990 Skunk Special

Bubblegum x Purple Punch

Chem de la Chem

Metal Haze

White Ass Chem

NYC Cookie

Destroyer

Beatrix Choice

Girl Scout Cookie

All confirmed and in the tent right now. Some of them are not as old as others, but I think this is a great start to the work I have been wanting to do.

I will be in soon to reply to private messages and the like. I think about og everyday, but I can’t always spend the hours I always end up spending here. Love this place and you people!

Take care :v:

Cheers, I understand now :+1:
I saw a method from the guy from Khalifa Genetics, for people who were having problems cracking ruderalis landrace seeds as they apparently have extra thick husks to survive the -20°C Siberian winters.
Anyway, his method is to press with your nail across the seam of the part of the shell that splits open until the shell cracks, then soak and plant as you normally would.
I’m sure the information is on the blog section of the Khalifa website if you want to look for yourself :+1::v:
