So I was going to start a thread for a Sensi Star repro but as of this evening only 2/10 are poking up so I will hold off on that until I know how many plants I am actually working with. Instead I decided to get a journal going to share and document my ongoing endeavors.
I’ve got quite a bit going on right now so the last month has been a little overwhelming but I think I got myself to a manageable phase. I just popped the Sensi Star F2 and some Suge Pure Kush fems from @sober, Suge on the left and Sensi Star on the right.
Just killed a bunch of seed plants after I got everything to root, so I have a couple copies of everything. Also a couple things in earlier veg as well as copies of everything I have in flower. I’ll save pictures for now since there’s a lot, but the list of what I have going is:
6 - Super Silver Haze x Starbust OG
3 - Rainbow Kush Breath x Appalachia F3
1 - Hashplant 13 BX x Appalachia F3
2 - Hollywood Pure Kush x Jaro F3

I also have another Daywrecker x Cherry Pie in flower right now that I don’t have a clone of, unfortunately. But the one that I do is my favorite of the 2 currently. This is a side branch of my favorite, it smells like a louder Cherry Pie.
This is the one I don’t have a clone of.
And here is the Fior Di Latte female. She got real pissed about something as soon as she went into flower and I was never able to figure out what it was. I think she just hates food honestly lol.
In my other flower tent I also have Fior Di Latte F2’s and Black Afghani F3’s cooking. I should have a decent amount of the Fior Di Latte F2 should anyone be interested when the time comes. The Black Afghani F3 probably not so much. I started with only 3 seeds, 2 made it, 1 male and 1 female, both were small so I said what the hell. Moved the male out collected polled and dusted the top few buds of the female.
In about a week I’ll be flowering the Hashplant 13 BX x Appalachia F3, 1 of the Rainbow Kush Breath x Appalachia F3, 1 of the Super Silver Haze x Starburst OG, Fior Di Latte for a second run to try to dial it in and maybe one of the smaller cuts of Daywrecker x Cherry Pie. Then in a few weeks once more of the clones have established a little better the rest of the Super Silver Haze x Starburst OG and Rainbow Kush Breath x Appalachia F3 will also go into flower.
Going to be a busy summer and I’ll do my best to keep everything updated and documented with more pics as we go along.

Now this is the kind of dirty work I can get behind. I’ll be watching. I’ll definitely be waiting for my chance at some of these beautiful seeds. Hope they all grow tall and fat.

Took a peek this morning and 4/10 Sensi Star are above ground and 4/7 of the Suge’s are as well. The Sensi Stars aren’t for a co-op or anything so I may just do the log here, but seeds will definitely be made of them!

Hell yeah, that fior girl is looking nice. I’m always here for a good grow log. I like seeing whatever one is growing and creating. Beautiful work.

This is the dad of the F2’s of the Fior’s, I almost killed him but he stank real good so I decided to see what he could do. I’ve got another copy of him too just in case. I kept the females pollinated pretty small, but there should be a good amount of seeds. If cool stuff comes out of them I can make more in the future and maybe some outcrosses.

So as of now it’s looking like I will only have 4 Sensi Star F2’s to work with. I’m gonna hold out hope I’ll get a few more in the next couple days.
It also seems based on the number of new hairs that these plants probably got pollinated too early but being my first time doing this I won’t beat myself up over it too much.
The Black Afghani F3’s are already starting to poke out a bit.
Can’t see any seeds popping out on the Fior Di Latte’s just yet but they definitely got pollinated. Maybe won’t get as many as I hoped for but should still have plenty to mess around with and pass out some.

Day 56 for these ladies and the Fior Di Latte is fading fast, but she looks like she needs more time. Gonna try to take her probably as close to 70 days as I can. The Daywrecker x Cherry Pies are looking good and will go as long as they need I’m thinking maybe 11 weeks? I guess we will see how the next couple go.

Also got 6/7 Suge Pure Kush up, and 5/10 Sensi Star, the latest one to pop is looking a little albino so I’m not sure if it will make it. I’ll get a picture update once they get a little more established.

Here’s a little tester of one of the Daywrecker x Cherry Pie, this is from the one I didn’t get a cut of unfortunately. The smell is subtle at the moment until broken up, then it’s somewhat astringent yet also sweet cherryish/berryish, hard to put a finger on. The flavor was a strong deep floral, almost a cologne like thing going on, which is oddly enjoyable to me. Pretty much instant stone but no couch lock, good mental uplift, decent length of effect too. Will definitely be a decent jar of smoke.

Black Afghani F3’s also in the making, unfortunately won’t have many if any to share of these until I get around to making more. Has a super unique smell that I can’t quite pinpoint.

I’m gonna try to be a little better about updating more consistently, so here’s what I got going on. I’ve got a few things in flower at day 31 the standouts so far are below.
Platinum Rainbow Kush x Appalachia F3, 2 different phenos, the first I was unable to get to root so I’ve only got this one. The second I have cloned and it’s bushing out pretty nicely.
Hashplant 13 BX x Appalachia F3, I’ve had my eye on this one even in veg so I’m excited to see how it turns out. Have a nice sized new mom of this one as well. I also have like 12 more of these beans I may have to crack into sooner than later depending on how this turns out.

Daywrecker x Cherry Pie, this was the one that I liked from the beginning and it’s starting to shine after a week in the jar. Getting more of the funk I was hoping for and also kept a lot of the sweeter notes too. No real sweetness on the smoke, pretty much all gassy/fuely/funk at the moment.
Fior Di Latte, for as pissed off as this plant got early in flower I’d say it turned out alright. I’m sure it will be much better once I get it dialed in. Just gotta remember it hates food lol The mom I have of it is like a 3’ x 3’ bush and has been fed next to nothing aside from new soil and is happy as can be. Smell on this one isn’t quite pinesol but it’s definitely got a lemon cleaner type thing going on and the flavor translates to taste pretty well.

I’m going to be flipping clones of all the Super Silver Haze x Starburst OG this weekend once the plants I have seeded are dried. I’ll be spreading out some of the Fior Di Latte F2’s and maybe a couple flips of the Black Afghani F3’s depending on how many I end up with. Seeding and sorting will be my Friday night festivities.
Once all the plants I have lined up to look through are finished the next big thing on the list is the Sensi Star increase. My thoughts on how to go about it have changed a few times so any input would be appreciated.
I have 4 F2’s and 13 F3’s that are looking good. My original plan was to do F3’s, F4’s and an F2 x F3. But with the small number of F2’s I thought I might just scrap the males and select from the F3’s to pollinate everything. But now I’m thinking I might go back to the original plan. I am going to make sure everything is backed up before I start flowering and making selections, but I also had a thought of doing a separate open pollination of everything as well.
I’m still a ways off from that and have plenty of time to figure it out. Thought I would throw that out there in case someone has a suggestion. If I find a real nice male I’m going to throw some other stuff in there to get hit as well, Daywrecker x Cherry Pie for sure, and anything in the next couple runs that turns out nice.

The HP13 Appy is from Kronic King and the Daywrecker x Cherry Pie are from Ohms Seeds.
I have 4 of the Daywrecker x Cherry Pies that I probably won’t end up popping. If you are interested let me know.

Ended up with a decent amount more of the Black Afghani F3’s than I was expecting, so 3 full flips will be given out. The smell on the mother was what I can only describe as savory and rich, somewhat like a mushroom gravy, and the dad had a pretty astringent stem rub. Just realized I never got a pic of the dad, but mom is down below, this was about 3 weeks before she was cut down.
With that the first flip will go out to whoever can guess the closest to, or guess correctly first, how many seeds are in this vile.
Feel free to tag anyone or spread the word around. As a reference the area with seeds is about 1”x1”, but that’s the only hint you get. Guessing will stay open until Sunday evening, and the winner will also get a flip of Fior Di Latte F2 which is Gelato 33 x Milkbone, Milkbone is Forum cut x Stardawg.
