Diy desktop vape?

Has anyone successfully built their own vape, like a volcano? I’ve seen a few guides that use heat guns but I’d like to know how they actually smoke

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, heatgun, metal pipe, brillo pad/steel wool in the pipe and something to catch the smoke.

My hesitation was how to limit the heat enough to prevent combustion. The videos I saw had some really thick “vapor”

Heatgun that’s has adjustable temp rather than settings and adjust the heat/space of the brillo pad/steel wood in the tube as needed. I would only use metal pipe for it and stay away from pvc pipe due to the heat/fumes from the plastic.

Used to have a bong attachment that was a flared out bowl to fit a heat gun… this was around the time volcanos were in every 215 club so I got to try plenty of both. The adjustable heatgun does work!

Unless i’m drunk and want to make a vape i wouldn’t ever consider it, i’d just hit a bong🤣If i were in highschool with some friends then yeah it’s something i would do.

There’s a diy ball vape build kicking around… I think it’s called the Titi? No personal experience with that one though…

One of the first Vape devices i ever seen back in the Early 2000s and it was a glass fitting that perfectly fit a heat gun nozzle and had a little chamber that you put the combustibles in that slid into a bong in one piece. That thing was like the Sgt Stadenko Smoke rig if it were a double barrel shotgun.

I was in highschool when vaping started becoming a thing. I ordered one like this at the time.

I still have it, just needs a new bowl, my favorite is connecting vapes to bongs.

Induction coil on a bowl made of 17-4 stainless cuz being magnetic itll heat up faster, works on non magnetic stainless/titanium just a lot slower, used a 12v $15 one off amazon for nectar collector with good results, like a dynavap. Ive been wanting to build a desktop rig for a min, bong to convenient tho.
