DIY 🔨 small breeding box

Making a breeding box from an old freezer :man_mage:t3: should be perfectly fine for a tiny scale crossbreeding lab :man_shrugging:t3:

Should even fit a minifan inside :pray:t3:

That’s what I’m figuring out next :thinking:
Thought about drilling holes & covering with pollen net or just manually opening it, let’s see

My first space was a converted upright fridge.

Hole saw for passive intake and exhaust, computer fan for exhaust and piece of screen over intake.

Its an insulated box, temps will be on the warm side in a heated space. I ran a 2’ 4 bulb T5 assembly in unheated garage and still needed to crack door to keep in mid 70’s.

Best of luck

Much appreciated :man_mage:t3::dash::pray:t3:
Was thinking bout that computer fan :thinking:
If the top is open the temps won’t be a prob but manually opening it daily… Idk we’ll see :smiling_face:

If you can get Maintainers / Repair manuals online for that model of freezer you will be able to see where it is safe to drill/holesaw for ventilation and maybe running your cables out via hole with a gland fitted.

Looking good though! :love_you_gesture:

Very cool @WeedKeeper have you ever had any luck with the pollen nets ? I want to try and harvest male pollen in a 2x2 box I built but I only have one room which has my females in it as well. I’m wondering if I could in case the box with the netting? Best of luck friend will keep my eye on this one .
