Thats the truth
. Guy has an ongoing log too with all his strains and newer stuff.
Only a legend would reverse a male🙂
Howdy @nick131740, that’s so true! @Josh_Blue’s Infinite grow thread showcases how detailed, professional, and passionate he is with respect to his work. The following comment highlights just one of many examples I’ve noticed from browsing that thread and it’s updates:
To minimize the chance of pathogenic transfer between plants when pruning and such, he employs a technique of using two pairs of scissors and hypochlorite, a disinfectant antimicrobial solution. In addition to the use of gloves that are regularly disinfected with the solution. Absolutely superb techniques being employed, and his garden is immaculate while being full of plants. Not an easy feat! Massive respect. Many blessings and much love
Howdy @ThcTattedGenetics, I totally agree, he’s a true legend in real time! Reversing males for observation, then progeny testing 10 different lines with the selected males out of a starting pool of 60 males is absolutely incredible work. It makes available to retail customers some of the best work currently on the market, in my opinion. I think the Grape Diesel Kush regulars are some of the most well worked genetics at one of the most affordable price points of any genetics that have ever been available retail in the history of the modern seed scene (I prefer regulars but also enjoy the utility of fems). Those Grape Diesel Kush regulars (as well as Family Blues V2) can be wonderfully complimented by some of his Blue Star feminized work like, for example, any of the following: Mayberry S1, 4 Blue Stars, Family Blues V3, Mega Death Star, Flo Star, and things of that nature. My point being, a pack of affordable regulars based on the Blue Star work and a pack of fems based on the Blue Star work can be had for such a incredible value and the work behind them is incredibly thorough. Paired together complimentary packs like that offer up a wealth of amazing genetics that offer a great resource for gardeners seeking top notch quality to add to their projects. The pedigrees are superb and the breeding strategies are complex. And most of those lines are being sold for as little as $39 currently at DC Seed Exchange. Possibly able to be had for even cheaper if there is an ongoing applicable sale. I got my Grape Diesel Kush last 4/20 for I think 20% off or something like that, so approximately $30!
To me, Josh’s work is basically the total opposite spectrum from the untested pollen chucks so many seed makers retail in this modern seed scene. We are so fortunate to have him part of the community and part of the retail seed scene! He’s undoubtedly raising the bar by leaps and bounds! Many blessings and much love
Feel like i just read an awesome djshort introduction!
Its all true though everything said. Josh has basically taken the steering wheel from Dj short. Blue lines can be worked for another 100 years i promise you that. Hidden gems everywhere if you look and pop the seed. Him and Dj are true mj lovers and the plants show. Cricket cicadas guy is too.
Im always looking to stack my stock! With these two fluence fangs i have id like to see what i can do now with leds as opposed to hortilux bulbs for 15 years
So i figured its been a few months cure on these 4diffrent dj bb genetics. Heres some shots of all 4 for comparison. I like the 2 dark colored flowers that have the tootsie roll pop noses. Overall just a sublime experience. Ill try to do a smoke report on them next week.
Whenever my other dj things go into flower ill start posting up photos again over here. Oh and since most ask does it smell like blueberries? Yes 2 do actually of varying degrees. Not a stand alone berry smell theres all kinds of smells happening.
My personal favorite is the chocolate indica one. Was the smallest plant but shes a freaking head thumper. Pure afghani effect, its the far left nug. Stuff wrecks you for like 3 hours
. DJ is the MAN, this is serious fire
These look amazing
Heres a grapefruit x dj short bb from my grow diary. Its a few weeks out still, nice smell. Im seeing a few bb characteristics. Chimera made these and these are f2s from those afaik.
I think you will love this one.
Dinafem made a Sweet Deep Grapefruit (Grapefruit x Blueberry) that i grew 3 fem plants of.
First was a keeper w an indica dom effect and buds smelled like dried mango w a strong body high.
Second was also a keeper and my favorite and was sativa dom and smelled like ripe fresh peaches w an elating happy sativa high. Wonderful day brightener.
Third was hybrid and smelled like clover honey w an average combo high.
Please let me know if you ever find seeds for sale of the Chimera version. Thank you!
Will do man i have quite a few olde seeds to go though at some point. Were a gift from a member so i for sure will get to it sooner than later. Also bluestar is actually doing a tester grow of some grapefruit blueberry hes made. Its on his page log
Excellent thank you for the Blue Star tip!
I just took a few pics of the spg x 98 f4 bb fem project.
A few days after transplant.
Day 25 from germination.
Love the Jurrassic Park sawtooth leaves. I can’t wait to read an eventual smoke report of this SPG x Blueberry.
I grew a diff. breeder version and the grapefruit and blueberry combo tasted like dank sweet peaches.

I have some F3 I just made that need testing…
Also have my best girl F2cut, might still have all three I selected…
Very nice looking my friend. I also have a grow log at another forum and i sent some potential business your way. Quite a few people were asking me about bb and hybrids. So hopefully theyll buy from you and not a knock off.
Ive had a terrible cycle so my sweet tooth isnt showing her true potential. She does smell nice though. Check it out though its only day 43 flip and shes about 10 days out. Fast af for a seed plant…
I would be interested In some BB F4 s1 if there’s something along that line please lmk if that’s an option in the future or even now?
