This is new to me, I am definitely going to need to take a look at that.
I have to say both my exhaust fan filters are slacking on blocking the smell this round.

If you’re in an illegal state, yeah, that’s something to consider. If you don’t, though, who fucking cares? Haha. I mean, kind of, to a degree. You don’t want to announce to the neighborhood,”Yo! I’m growing weed over here!” But at the same time, I don’t really worry about it too much. As long as the exhaust fans are actually pulling air out of the room, I don’t worry if the carbon filters are actually, uh, filtering the smell.
There’s a place about four or five houses down from me, other side of the street, that’s clearly growing and have been for years. They’ve got a couple AC units on their roof and it just REEKS of weed out front, no matter what time of day I walk our dog by it, been like that since we moved to this block. I figure if anybody in the neighborhood’s worried about weed growing, they’re gonna worry about their house first haha.
Looking good! Which one’s in the back right-hand corner? She’s getting a lil stretchy, no?
Did you raise the light just to take that pic, or you keeping it that high all the time?
Thats the gigantic Blueberry, she always was a bit stretchy.
I leave my light high due to the light power intisnty. Once I crank that baby up the plants hated it last grow. Two members here have the same light and suggested putting it higher then normal. Last grow it solved all my issues. I’m only on 4-5 power level of 10 so far. Shes about to slowly get crabked.
Went to the local hardware store and got some ant killer.
Cleaned up the tent and sprayed the perimeter of closet and outside the house.
I love these fans so much I decided to get another to blast the hot air this light produces.
My flow girl has some white residue forming on her, going to need to look into that too.
Those ants can be a precursor to an aphid infestation. Something about a chemical or something that ants release that aphids are super-attracted to. I didn’t know that until I got aphids last round and somebody here asked if I had ants in the grow area (I do not), but it’s something you might wanna keep an eye out for. I fucking hate aphids haha, got them my last two grows, no idea how.
Some species of ants basically ranch aphids. The aphids feed on the plants and the ants feed on honey dew that the aphids secrete, almost like milking a cow
Yeah, that’s it! Pretty fucking fascinating, actually, but not good if you’re trying to keep your gardens aphid-free haha…
So far no milk coming . No ants this morning, no Aphids that I can see so far. Crossing fingers I don’t have to cross that.
Thank you
Some kinds of ant call to one another. Carpenter ants I believe. They love organics.
They have been staying away lately like good little ants
BBs and Flo lookin great! Nice and happy - good job they can be a pain to keep happy.
Thank you, I’ve heard Flo can be finicky.
