That Dragonsoul x TGE or Dreadbread x TGE would be the other options I was eyeing from that dad.

Now I did manage to grab the dread bread cross. So hopefully he still has that one. I also picked up 2 packs of the ethiopian banana x Dragon Energy

Just ordered 3 packs of Vietnamese Black. Been waiting for this vault search for a long time. Gonna pop at least 10 - 20 seeds to make mothers out of them and than grab clones to flower and see which plant give the best traits. I cant wait. Ill post pictures later on if seeds pop.

Last 2 packs I got from him; Zang! and Hawaiian Web Heirloom. Only a single Hawaiian seed popped out of the soil. Nothing else made it. 2 full packs, 24 seeds and only 1 made it. Shame but that’s life. RO water for 24 hours, than heavy duty paper towel in RO water again, inside a zip lock bag. Placed inside a bathroom towel to keep temperature stable and complete light blackout. But nothing after 2 days of paper towel method. Placed them in soil after and nothing for over a week and a half.

But its okay.

That doesn’t sound good?
Just about to send $ for Hawaiian Web and have a pack of Zang also…
Haven’t heard any bad reports about @Doc.D 's gear?

Dont let my misfortune hurt you. Maybe the way I handled the seeds or maybe the fox farm soil was bad or I used a bad paper towel. You never know.

I recommend everyone to continue their own way and order what you want to try. I spoke with Doc and he agreed on my method to have been a solid way of popping seeds and it was a really weird hit I took.

I still ordered more seeds from him, I dont care if the seeds didn’t pop, it was just an unlucky day for me.

Yah, I never had a stroke like that, who knows…
I have several selections from him and getting ready to look thru a few.
Will post progress as well.

Look forward to see what you turn up.

Grace and Peace,

Maybe hard seed shells needed a crack. Everything he’s making is pretty fresh so I would expect you to get 20/24.

Maybe try some sandpaper in a matchbox on the VBs. Wait 5-6 days in the moist paper towels. If nothing, give them a crack.

I actually prefer tap water as I think the chlorine gives a little pathogen and mold protection while in the napkin the first day or two.

FF is much too HOT for seeds, IMO. SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

I have heard of these methods and I will definitely try them on my next run for the Vietnamese Black since I really want that strain to come out since I would love to get the ALL black flower.

I have used FF for all my seeds and this was the first run that I have ever gotten 1 percent results. I think i might have just handled them wrong but that thing is I use a stick or tweezers to touch the seeds from the bag, to the water, to the towel and back to soil. Never touched a human skin cell ever.
