Oh, no. I have no idea who the best retailer is haha. GLG was selling some, I know that, but I’ve never bought Doc D stuff from them. I bought a few packs years ago from SHOE, but I dunno if he’s still selling Doc’s gear. I’ve been out of the seed-buying market for a while (and I’m keeping it that way), no idea who’s selling what and where right now.
Smacky was just trying to help you out. Like, if you bought the seeds from reallyawesomefireseedsdotcom, you probably got scammed haha.
My bad and sorry to call you out just thought you may be hip to possible current distributors of Doc Ds seeds. Sorry friend and will not do that again before I check.
Mintiger’s right, GLG and Headie Gardens both carry Doc’s gear. There’s some collab stuff with nobody’s nursery that I think might be from after Doc moved south, and the rest is stuff that was appearing on Doc’s mailing lists in the months before he moved. I don’t imagine any of it is all that old.
It had a weird flavor I’ve gotten from a Kashmir Azad cross before, kinda rooty-carrot/parsnip but there’s something else I have a hard time describing… not quite tea tree oil, but along those lines?
Blue Scream update…
Blue Scream is Original DJ Short BB clone x A5 Haze/Thai bx.
I have some Blue Scream f2s available.
The F1 parents were both selected for their BB traits. Progeny ranges from straight BB terps to hazey blue dream type profiles with some incense undertones.
There are a few F1 packs available but they are almost gone.
Haze Valley Nursery will be offering the Blue Scream F1 clone soon. It’s on their beta menu now so some of you might already have access. The F1 clone will finish outside and does great in Dep.
Shoe has some of the @nobodysnursery collaborations still in stock that I was eyeing, Blue Dream and 10K Jack, a few others at Headie Gardens for $40 while they last
The next phase of the blueberry haze work is ready to hunt…
I’m gonna hunt through these f2s this season.
It was a small batch but there are some f2 packs available via email. F1 clones are available through Radio Ridge/Haze Valley.
Hi, my name is LoveDaAutos and I’m a seedaholic. I’ve been clean now since December 31st of 2023 with the intention of not buying any seeds at least through Jan. 1, 2025 I have been trading seeds here and there to help fight the addiction and so far I’m doing okay staying clean.
Taste/smell: were similar lemon cleaner/citrus, very pleasant
Harsh/smooth 1-10: very smooth 9, no cough
Profile: 60% sativa 40% Indica, excellent pain relief, talkative, good for afternoons and evenings especially for social settings. Puts a big smile on my face.
Buzz: immediate, builds quickly, no paranoia, not very energetic, 2-2.5 hour duration, soft landing. I get less focused the more I smoke.
Potency 1-10 weak to strong: reasonably strong 8
Munchies: yes
I was expecting a more energetic strain, but overall most people who have tried it really loved it.
It’s the DJ short Blueberry clone that was popular in the bay area and one in the early 2000s. I’ve been holding it since then. I passed the clone to doc a few years ago and he made the F1s.
She’s a sexy slim thick. Her resin is really slick and greasy, coating everything in this delicious smell of Jack, dank carrots, pine, and onions.
It’s all fairly skinny as expected, but not much larf and very few leaves. Doesn’t hold onto its leaves, so they flick right off. I see how you could dial in / tighten this one up.
Also zero seeds, not even a single immature one. The many, many nanners must be mostly sterile.
I vaped some NR8 when it had been hanging for 14d and several times since. Frosty purple sativa buds. Tasty, mouth coating carrots, hazy Jack, fried green curry paste.
Come up was 30-45min with several gentle ramps/plateaus. Visual. Never rocked me, functional but relaxed for a couple hours. Dismount is relaxed red eye jedi. It has enough body counteracting the sativa underpinning that I can smoke it all day and all night and fall asleep in 10 seconds after my head hits the pillow. Good initial impression. I’m hoping this will develop new dimensions in jars over the next few months.
