Asked him for it back and he gave me some random male and swore that’s what I gave him

Haha, I asked my girl the same thing when I saw what I made after I got home yesterday. She didn’t know and neither do I. Pretty sure it isn’t. Either way, it’s shit money.
And I’m going out to do it again today! Right after I chop and hang the last two plants! Haha.
The thing that blows my mind is, like, how do people with gas cars make any money at all doing that shit? I’ve got the Tesla, thank gawd. The app actually shows how much you would’ve spent on gas as opposed to just plugging it in. My girl showed it to me yesterday and the power cost $83 for the month; if it was a gas car, I woulda spent $287. And that’s only because I usually do it for like three or four hours a day like four days a week; those people in gas cars who are out there for eight hours a day…? That’s just nuts. I have no clue how much they must be spending on fuel, but it’s gotta be a TON.
If I hadn’t already told Sunvalley he could have some, I’d offer to send some to you (when I can afford it haha…), but we talked about it like six months ago or a year ago (or it might’ve been two months ago. Or two years ago, I’m not sure when that was; time is a flat circle), so…
I’m sure you’ll find some somewhere. Eventually…

I was kicking it outside this morning, walked back in to grab another drink and this is what I saw:
She’d taken a few of her toys from the basket, one by one, and brought them up to the couch and also scrunched that blanket up into a little ball. I fucking LOVE this dog.
Anyway, I chopped the last two plants today.
Hashplant D #4, flower day 69:
That one branch got pretty floppy, but overall she was pretty sturdy.
That last pic is the flower at the end of that branch that was flopping over.
So yeah, I’m pretty stoked about her for sure. She reeeealllyyyy got frosty in the last week or so, it’s hard to tell from those pics (I moved her around from area to area in the kitchen and dining room and still couldn’t get pics that made me happy haha); if I wasn’t totally over this grow or if I had some other stuff that needed a week or two or three, I probably woulda let her go another five days, just to see what would happen. As it is, the raised trichome stalks or whatever are pretty visible to the naked eye, even to me with my shitty-ass eyesight.
And here’s the freak Grapefruit f3 #2:
You can see she was really leaning at the base without the stakes, but overall she seemed pretty sturdy, too.
Those pics make her look a lot better than she actually does in person. I mean, she doesn’t look “bad” or anything, but the flowers on her are probably the least impressive-looking of everything from this round.
Which means odds are good that she’ll turn out to be my favorite haha.
She also has these weird white spots all over the flowers, like some parts of a lot of the calyxes are white, I dunno if y’all can tell from the pics or not. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it before, though. It’s kinda weird.
Anyway… Yayyyyy!!! haha… This grow is done, I’m super-stoked about it. No aphids or pests of any kind, no real problems other than the constant heat and super-low humidity, followed by super-high humidity right at the very end. I’m gonna try to squeeze in three grows between now and June 15 or so; I don’t wanna be flowering in July and August anymore. It’s just too much of a hassle and no matter what I do the temps and humidity levels never get where I’d like them to be, so… Yeah. We’ll see how moving to three grows in eight and a half months works out haha…

My rescue dutch shep did that shortly after getting spayed (mandated for rescues). Turns out she was going through what’s called a false pregnancy. Not suggesting yours is and it’s trivial anyways. Awesome to hear it’s working out with her!

Yeeeahh, I’d say she’s got some frost to her! Interesting the buds look similar to Chem D to me, but looks like the resin from the HP. She doesn’t have any of the dumpster funk kind of smells goin on with her?
Always a good feeling to pull off another grow without issue! I hear you about shutting down for awhile though. I’m thinking of taking a break for a while after the next round…

Funny that you mention that. My girl just told me this morning that she’s not fixed yet. Obviously we’re gonna do that soon, but I didn’t know that. My girl deals with all the Real Shit; I just play with the puppy haha.
Would that it were so haha. She was actually like,”What the fuck?!? Somebody come play with me!”
I forgot how much I missed having an active little dog around. Or even a middle-aged dog who likes to run around haha; ANY dog that likes running around and playing and stuff. The last three years have just been hanging with dogs that are… You know… Not running around and playing haha.
Nube said the same thing a couple rounds of pics-ago. I can’t attest to that since I’ve never grown Chem D before, but it’s good to know. I thought the tops looked like that because of the heat. And even if it is because of the heat, I’m fine with that haha.
Definitely not “dumpster,” but I did notice this morning when I was chopping her that she smelled really good. For a second I thought,”You should try to figure out what you’re smelling so you can describe it when someone asks you about that after you post these pics,” but then I figured, you know… “Let’s just see what she smells like after the dry and cure.” We’ll see. But it definitely wasn’t “dumpster.” I know what you’re talking about, but it wasn’t that.
It doesn’t hurt. I do find myself sometimes just getting like,”Gawwwwdaaaamnnnn… Again? I have to deal with the tent and humidifiers and shit? Watering the fucking plants? Monitoring temps???” haha.
I love growing, but sometimes I just wanna fuck off. Which I’m about to do haha.
I think that yeah, this. When I had the idea in my head, thinking about my usual September 1 start, I was already planning on at least one of the rounds being vegged a little shorter than usual. Now that I won’t be starting the latest round for a few weeks, that’s definitely the plan. Maybe even two rounds might get vegged for only like 30 or 40 days this year and then next year I’ll work it out a little better.
And yeah, I’ll do that, too haha. There’s no other way.

Me, too. It fucking rained here last night, I guess, woke up this morning and everything’s soaking wet haha. It must’ve really poured. That means that it’s rained here at least once every month this year. I’ve never seen anything like it, except when I lived in Portland. And even then, it wouldn’t rain in, like, July, August and September. Very weird.
I’m not surprised your plants got mold, though, seeing as how they were all just, like, one fat nug on a one-foot plant. That might’ve happened even if the weather had been ideal haha.
I moved the plants I had hanging in the bathroom into the 5x5 and hung those two I chopped yesterday in there, too. Plus side of this weather, humidity levels have been between 50 and 60% without even having to turn on a humidifier. So that’s good.

Congrats on the pup! 
While I have great respect and compassion for rescues and fosters, I think a purebred puppy’s the way to go. And I agree about having an active dog who’s always down to clown. Boxers are just incredible, especially the small, silly females!
We let our pup go through heat once before getting her spayed at like 16 or 18mo, and she did the false pregnancy thing with one of her toys for a couple weeks, carrying it around everywhere, snuggling it, licking it and crying at it when it wouldn’t move. It was really cute and simultaneously sad because she would have been an exceptional mom, but alas, I’m not in a position to do that. We bred german shepherds and airedales when I was growing up, and I’d like to do it again someday myself.
Also, congrats on another successful harvest. Plants look good! That HPD looks great - the knobby look is from the D 
, not temps - and it appears to be a real easy trimmer. Hope it smokes well, too.
Forecast says it’s gonna be cooling down soon, so your mailbox may be heating up. Though I bet it’s been on fire recently!

Have both a rescue and a purebred puppy and I feel like the most critical part of the topic of rescues is giving whatever source your dog came from the best life you can and a solid home. Often times when looking at shelter rescues I’d see people have to give up their dogs because they brought in an incompatible rescue dog to their home or a puppy they didn’t train / socialize. I respect solid pet owners in general whether they rescued or bought / took in a puppy!
I remember my dutch crying a lot too during her false pregnancy and it really was alarming. Did you breed show / working line gsds? Very cool either way!

That’s interesting. The new girl (I still don’t know if we’re spelling her name “Roxy” or “Roxie” haha; I kinda wanna spell it Roxy, like the legendary hair metal club on Sunset, just so if we get another dog we can name it “Whiskey,” like the other legendary hair metal club on Sunset down the street from The Roxy haha!)(it’s dumb, I don’t like hair metal, but that’s funny to me) was carrying around one of her toys for a while. She’s stopped doing that, but she was definitely running around in the backyard with a toy in her mouth that she brought from inside for a little bit. None of our other dogs have ever done that, but they’d all been fixed.
Yeah. Although we’ll never do it, I would love to breed boxers. I wish we woulda bred Bowie, just because he was such an unusual dog. He had longer hair that was super-soft, totally the opposite of what people think of when they think of boxers. He was also pretty huge for a boxer, like 75 pounds, but a healthy 75 pounds. He was definitely purebred, though; he came with papers and my girl got the genetic testing or whatever done on him later, just because she didn’t believe that he was purebred, but he was.
The thing that’s funny about Bowie: he was the last dog of the litter that my girl got him from, supposedly the “runt.” And he got huge and lived for twelve years, which is pretty long for a boxer. He got cancer once, before his brain tumor, thought we were gonna have to put him down, but he beat it and lived for like three more years…
Good genetics! Worth introducing into the boxer gene pool! Haha.
How did y’all’s straight Chem D grow? Stretchy, or…? Because it would appear, based on what you’re saying about the flower morphology, that I got Chem D flowers on an 88G13HP frame? Or whatever? Maybe??? Haha. That’d be pretty cool.
I have not been unhappy with some of the mail I’ve received lately haha.
Since we’re waiting on these plants to dry and I don’t really have anything else to write about, I’m probably in the near future gonna post some smoke reports of some other weed, not grown by me, completely unrelated to the mail, that I’ve been getting into lately…

We had to do this last year. My girl is SUPER-hardcore about the whole “training” aspect, she reads books, learns stuff at the rescue she volunteers at, scolds me all the time for not doing the “right” thing when it comes to dogs haha etc etc etc. But this dog we had last year, Sugarbear, was just fucking nuts. I think she came from a home where the dude was beating his wife or something, because Sugar was totally fine as long as my girl and I weren’t in the same room together. But as soon as we were, Sugar would just attack me relentlessly for hours and hours. It was like she was doing all she could just to keep us from sitting together on the couch watching tv.
The final straw was this one day/night when we had a friend over and we ate some mushrooms and Sugar just would not get off of my friend. It got to the point where I was like,”Alright, you’re going into your pen,” (their pens should never be seen as a form of punishment, but it had to be done), put her there, left her there for an hour and was like,”Okay, I’m gonna let her out now.”
My friend was standing behind our couch and this dog came bolting out of the cage, down the hall and straight-up launched herself off of the couch, into the air and onto my friend. She had to try to catch Sugar in the air. Totally fucking nuts.
So we gave her up haha.
She went to a home on two acres, which is what she needed. My girl follows her on IG, the videos of her are very cute, just running around like a crazy dog, but she’s got enough room to do it now.
You’re right, though, totally. It’s weird how some dogs really aren’t just the right “fit.” You’d think that all dogs are perfect and OF COURSE they’ll be happy here, but that Sugarbear… I don’t wanna say I “hate” her haha, but, uh… Holy shit, she was nuts.
