“Made in 1973, this independently produced time capsule documentary deals with the subject of marijuana harvesting, cultivation, transportation, distribution and finally inhalation in the United States. The bulk of the film is constructed as a series of adventures by a group of college boys, using cameras to document their investigations into how to secure a large supply of marijuana. They interview various American growers (‘experts’), test ‘wild’ marijuana in the American mid-West, then travel to Mexico to seek out the ‘super weed’ cultivated in the hills outside of Acapulco, and eventually smuggle it into the States.”

A look at the UK’s attitudes toward and laws regarding cannabis use. While subject to some bias (particularly regarding the UK’s “skunk” panic), this documentary shows the state of cannabis research knowledge at the time and introduces cannabidiol to the british public.
While some of the information has been shown to be laughably inaccurate now, seeing the formation of the ideas about the entourage effect is interesting. Definitely worth a look if you are curious about 00’s cannabis in the UK.
