Does anyone do embryo Rescue?

i have veeeeery special Genetics.
I dont want to tell you exactly what it is openly,
its sativa.
its old
(ask me in PersonalMessage)

We already sprouted some, and one out of 50 Seeds grew into a Plant,
however we lost it due to other mistakes.

Do you want to save a legendary Sativa?
I promise you senserely, i wont hold you acountable (is that english?). I didnt complain about the other guy lossing it do to a mistake… So, ill accept the outcome whatever it is, promised! we can send it to somewhere in the States. Im already happy if you do the embryo rescue-part and we do the Earthwormcastings part.

Hell yeah we do :grin: i sure wish I could help in this endeavor but i don’t have the means for tissue culture but @Upstate has a guy i think ps watching now i gotta see how this turns out thanks bro for the adventure

Heres a lab at the university of Florida but it doesn’t have a cost/price associated with it it only say a “cost recovery basis” whatever that means and i also found “home kits” and the price range for that ranges from 50$ to 1500$ lol

I don’t have any lab or any degree in genetic engineering, but i’m doing embryos extraction each fucking season with these damned thaï releases. Even with experimental seeds ^^

To maybe demystify a bit the process … all you need is patience (not trying to open them all in 10 minutes), scalpel and tweezers. Place the seeds in a H202 solution, and work them one by one. Surgery → transplantation (enriched agar or directly soil, soil have my preference). Don’t start with the idea that you will save them all : some are too badly formed to be opened, others even perfectly extracted will not grow and you have accident during the surgery too. If you cut a cotyledon by necessity or error … not big deal. Even the two sometimes. Radicle + apex : they are the ones to keep perfectly in shape.

I can’t offer the service, each centimeter of my space is used for the current season, but i swear that it’s not a big deal and that it don’t ask any advanced intels to be realized successfully.

Your super duper rare sativa is the same Vietnamese you were collecting funds for and making a scene over, a couple years back no?

secoundly no, this is something else… i have no idea why you think i want to save the socalled vietnamese seeds that turned out to be a autoflower 3 years ago? Im not on that level of saving autoflowers…after i found out they are hempy autoflowers. but most of all, i dont understand your mood.

so you do it without the Shield/dome that prevents contamination? you only buy the tweezers and H2o2 ? and then dont put them in the substrat neither? Microscope not needed?

and also this is totally wrong. i didnt collect money for the vietnamese autoflower thing…
i guess youre pretty hung up on me one day finding one strain to be fake. well. if thats all, then , can happen i would say. right.
can happen especialy to those who dont “just” propagate the endless amount of already existing lines once relased by breeder XY… can happen. part of the game.

The fact that the Vietnamese autoflowered is not a problem. You win some, you lose some, i can attest to that. Btw i also have those 70s viet that auto.

To me it was the flagrant misrepresentation of the plant you presented us with. Calling it a rare clone straight from the 70s when that plant still had cotyledons attached, taking us for fools.

You see why id raise an eyebrow?

missinterpretation sounds more truthful now than calling it “lying”.
However, everyone has its strenghts and weaknesses. mine lye not in looking at a plant and telling what genetic it is. Mine are in looking at a plant without someone telling me what its supposed to be, and hence i not overlooking the signs you mentioned. This is also called placebo/expectation, wich can make you blind for a secound. So thanks for clarifying that thats your only reason for all those posts. thanks.

“Overlooking the signs” is a pretty manipulative way to say you gave that seed to someone and when thing went south you felt the need to deceitfully create a sense of urgency to get professional services from others for free.

now you imply that i did do it on purpose. Dude im a Sativalover. I discovered that it was Auto Hemp, and then i wrote everyone in a Thread that its auto hemp. Until that point i believed it was vietnamese that flowered because the seeds DID ALMOST NOT sprout. I believed it was survival-flowering… i assumed it was viet. I already described you the reason was “expectation”. like placebo i did not SEE it… thats scientifically prooven to happen.
