Ive got some road kill skunk #1 testers from medman i should pop sometime. They are maybe like 7 years old.
I dont really recall them moving beyond the tester phase, but maybe theres something good. Supposed to be a cross from an old purple skunk from the canadain east coast x something else i cant remember

UFS18 is a nice plant but doesn’t smell like skunk.
Maybe there is an “alive and walking skunk” which just smells like a dirty animal.

I have a cross with it and Duke Diamonds Hoodoo and it smells like burnt chemical rubber white onions.This runt on the right here will make your nose hairs peel back like the Guy in th chair in the old maxxell Ads she just plain fukkin stinks Not a RKS though but we’re getting somewhere I think it’s a start.

If you want old school, earthy, piney skunk, check out The Landrace Team’s Iranian Balochistan Selection #2. It’s not pure skunk, and not RKS, but it’s definitely very skunk like. No sweet or fruit. I rubbed against a plant the other day, and could smell that long lost, old skunk weed smell on my jacket for about an hour later. Again, not as loud as RKS, and some plants probably lean more toward meat smells than skunk, but overall, it’s a line that definitely has one of the best classic skunk smells I’ve found in modern offerings. No BSing. I actually just bought another pack for further exploration.

Just a thought here. In the early times of weed I’m pretty sure the descriptive words for the smells of weed were pretty vague.
I read stuff now that reminds me of wine tasting with its description. Maybe we should ask no smokers how it smells to them.

It just so happens I have 3 female Blueberry x Skunk #1 plants that got pollinated by only 2 Males Purple Urkle or Strawberry Glue
They are F1 Hybrids , I just removed from what I could so far froma Purple Urkle That so far counted well over 800 nice healthy seeds…

I was watching a podcast and one guy was saying it will be harder to find true skunk in skunk seeds. How true this could be idk but damn you would think someone would have something close and broke the interweb 🤷
With all the stuff coming out these days on stunted terp and thiol production inside vs outdoors I think it’s safe to say part of the issue is grow environment. I know even bodhi mentioned how his skunk stuff just had to be outside to work.

Ahhh very good point. Would it be the stress say from animals or pests that would make it turn skunkier lol don’t think that a word
