When my light goes off my rh returns to normal when the 1000w hps kicks on she drops to about 30, does anyone else notice a drop in over 20+ to Rh. This is just a pic from two days of the cycle.

Howdy @Rubixone, if your temperature is increasing a good bit then that will influence the relative humidity. Warmer air can hold more water so with the same amount of moisture in the air as temperature rises the relative humidity will lower. 20’ish percent change seems normal. It’s mostly a concern because the ambient relative humidity for you is already quite low to start with 50 and change. So dropping from 50% to the 30’s% with the lamps on is going to be more noticable as it relates to plant functions like respiration compared to somewhere more tropical with more moisture available in the intake supply air.
Perhaps a hydroponic system with DWC buckets being airated could help with keeping humidity up. Hope that helps. Many blessings and much love
