Well hello all you weedy people. It is here I will document a little grow. This is specifically for @Upstate 's Double Black Oaxaca. This is just the beginning, so bear with me as we get up and rolling. I’ll be dropping 6-8 seeds this evening to begin the journey. The cross is Double Vietnam Black x Oaxaca. Perhaps upstate will drop a few more infos down for you all. This is a cross I’m personally very excited about. Anyone who has an interest in inbred lines, landrace preservation, and generally good weed should get with upstate! I’ve been more than happy with his offerings thus far. Anyway. Seeds will be dropped in an hour or two. They’ll be grown in coco/promix with added compost and ewc. They’ll be fed some stuff. Likely salts. Likely a mix of ventana, dr earth, and ohio earth foods products. These will get a roughly 10-12 week veg and expected flower is somewhere around 14 weeks. I’ll be giving updates hopefully twice a week. Everything else I rock with will continue to stay in my thread. Thank you @Upstate for the chance to showcase these. Let’s get it going.

I’m gonna watch as they grow. I’ve been waiting to pull the plug on Oaxacan, but with Vietnam black added, she sounds sweet.

Oh goodness. So they may have gone down a day or three after I said they were going down, but we are groovy. 8/8 popped. Some were put directly into 1-2 gallon pots and some were put in seedling pots. Let the party start

Oh hey gang. Everyone’s good over here. Nothing dead. One seedling seems to be a little rusty but nothing serious. I’ll post pics this afternoon. 
I’m still alive. Hope it’s been a good few weeks. The seedlings all look pretty similar. Harsh serrations, thin to medium thin leaves. They’re still pretty small as I’ve reduced how much light the veg tent gets to keep things manageable but at roughly 3.5 weeks old, they’re happy. See you soon

There is a rather bld looking pheno from @slain viet black( romanoweed Says it can have wider leave sometimes?) but most look similar to the vietnam seventy.
…Glad to see it! The way I peruse OG, I jump around a lot. For some reason, your threads have not been coming up in my feed as much lately as they used to. I like the way you grow (and write), and I appreciate @Upstate’s commitment to (and well-informed understanding of the origins of) landrace and heirloom strains.
So I’ll be watching this grow too, and hoping you get a bonanza of healthy plants and strong medicine from it. Good luck!
