Doubt the "doubter!"

We could also then ask, “should we trust the opinion of a man who believes his beard is more important than companionship with other humans?”

Beards take time.
They are an investment.
Dont give up somthing you worked for, because someone else doesent like it.

Surround yourself with people that want you as you are, not with those that wish you to change in a way that is not a true reflection of yourself.

Basically be yourself, reguardless of others opinions.

The real quote replaces “woman” with “P**sy” :smiley_cat:
But the sentiment is the same.

God dwells in You, as You, and you do not have to ‘do’ anything to be God realized or Self-Realized, it is already your true and natural state.
Just drop all seeking, turn your attention inward, and sacrifice your ego mind to the One Self radiating in the heart of your very being.
For this to be your own presently lived experience, Self- Inquiry Meditation is a direct and immediate way.

This hangs on the door to my grow area.
It helps me remember that, in here:
the wee germinating sprouts, the early veg stage plants, the full flowered plants are growing me.

Anyone who dares to do it, has no courage.
Whoever gives it, is cold like as stone.
Those who possess it, are destitute.
and those who love it, remain alone.

what is it?

I could plan. Make up an idea of a path. But, I can also just walk, and trust that the ground is always present. I don’t know, but somehow, with each step taken, the path creates itself, and here, now, that’s enough.

Between two thoughts there is a period of silence which is not related to the thought process. If you observe you will see that that period of silence, that interval, is not of time and the discovery of that interval, the full experiencing of that interval, liberates you from conditioning.

All depends on you. It is by your consent that the world exists. Withdraw your belief in its reality and it will dissolve like a dream. Time can bring down mountains; much more you, who are the timeless source of time. For without memory and expectation there can be no time.

"The Silent One possessed me in Silence
and poured into me a speechless word
that was the seed of wisdom.

That word, O friend, had a magic effect on my life.
It hushed up the mind and opened my heart to silent embrace of the Divine".

"The unique One pervades all beings. All are one in that.

It is the Life of lives, the One that moves in many names and forms.
It is beyond the mental conceptions of caste, creed and religion.
Ascetic or householder, all have a right to live in its consciousness.
Come collectively to enjoy the bliss of life in the Divine Grace.
Call with deep love; the Grace shall pour itself from above."

We exist only in the present.
Using the past as a reference in time (which is a mental creation), we project an apparent future (expectation) which again, is a mental creation done by us at the present moment, where alone we exist!
Both time and space are concepts within which the world of names and forms appear and that is the substance of memory.
