Zorlop, I agree, a great strain from SOL. I must say this line was pheno bred for a sativa head. Treble frequency herb with cloud 9, racy and paranoiding effects.
CogHunter, I feel what yer sayin, however I put no pressure on folks. Whether growing or collecting these seeds, my intention was to git these aging beans into the herb community’s hands.
BeardedMech, I couldn’t answer that, though I does sound like BH is in that cross and think I remember a cross like that. Can’t speak on any experience…
If I may explain the reasons behind this giveaway of GrindHouse stock… some who’ve kept up with GrindHouse, know I had spine surgery in '13.
In March '24, last year, I felt a “twinge” of something dreaded and familiar; I knew my back was goin out. I had just set up our outdoor herb garden and had been felling trees, working on our homestead.
2 months ago, I felt the entire weight of my condition… my back needed more surgery,neck and hips needing scoping.
My oldest son has no interest in herb and probably resentful, having to grow up in an environment where caution and secrecy were paramount. The youngest, we’ve toked many times but now has a job where he can’t… I was hopeful to pass down my knowledge and genetics to him. I had some real hopes in working with him, I was excited; it’s not his way of life though and won’t expect that.
As stated, needs, priorities and tastes have changed and with my condition, won’t have the time to work on some of my oldest offerings. I wanted to re-release Mob Boss and The Prophet, backcrossing to the mother’s for better taste.
My hope for the greater herb growing community is to grow, trade, breed and collect seed I worked over the years and hope not to see people trying to git rediculous prices for seed that’s been given away.
I thought I would be able to reemerge last year '24, though not knowing what the scope of GrindHouse would be. However, with my conditions worsening, the priority is to git this stock out and into the hands of you folks.
