Beautiful! We have a pair of red hawks that have nested in a tree line by our house. The crows keep harassing and dive bombing the best and mama bird.

I love em man. I’ve always felt some weird connection to the red tails. Years ago I was driving into work one morning and I wanna it was a couple years after my baby brother passed away from a pool incident. I was always think of him or other family members that passed for some reason when I see them. So I was driving in had a keep wrangler. Beautiful morning so my top was off. There was this one huge field I drove by before our shop and would always see one or two posted up. I see him posted up in a tree as I’m driving by. Got a little bummed thinking of my brother. Next thing I know I look up and it’s flying like 6ft over my head right at pace with me down the road. I start freaking out so excited. I love up and yell “I see you brutha hawk” and the thing let out this sweet screech back. Flew along with me a little more than went up to another tree branch. I have a shitty ass memory from ptsd but that morning plays in my head like I’m watching it on tv.
