In light of June being National Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness month, I thought it may be appropriate to introduce and give a shoutout here to Dr. Sue Sisley. She has spent decades working with PTSD, Veterans and Medical Cannabis. She is a true cannabis warrier I promise you ;-)~

I like her! She’s on our side.
And she has been for quite some time my friend.
This video is from back in 2016, Sue speaking to the iCAN in Israel about " The Healing Power of Cannabis for Post Trauma Patients".
A bit newer, in 2022 Sue speaks to the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Symposium about “Inhaled cannabis for PTSD” and her/the first randomized control trial results.
From my own anecdotal observations and experiences I think cannibus does help relieve PTSD symptoms. I had a minor case of PTSD after a house fire and it helped me.
My symptoms are 95/100 & well, here I am.

Glad to hear @cannabissequoia , keep up the good fight. Cannabis saves another life ;-)~
Dr. Sue will be speaking at South by Southwest tomorrow about Ibogaine as a transformative treatment for opioid and poly-substance dependence.

"We are thrilled to announce that our Principal Investigator, @suesisley , will be speaking at @sxsw 2025! As President of Scottsdale Research Institute, Dr. Sisley is at the forefront of groundbreaking research, and we’re excited to see her share insights on the panel “Breaking History: Opioid Settlements & Ibogaine’s Future.”
Join her on March 10, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM CT at the JW Marriott Austin, Room 201-202, as she discusses innovative approaches to tackling the opioid crisis, including the potential of ibogaine as a transformative treatment for opioid and poly-substance dependence."
This is great, I love seeing things like this get discussed more after my personal struggles with opioids that were prescribed by a Dr, as well as others close to me who still have or have had past issues with those type of drugs
I always say us opiate abusers never had a problem until they ran out haha but seriously we all share the same story of being over prescribed from a doctor or dentist. When I was a teenager after a wisdom teeth extraction there was no need for a full script and refill of pain meds. It’s a different world now though people are wise
