He’s all alone, upstairs in our bedroom grow tent.
He’s wearing a ‘collar’ to keep falling pollen from reaching the floor or his planter— and every night I tip him over a large tray covered in parchment and give him a shake. All done inside the tent of course. In just his very 1st night, got a teaspoon of pollen!
And yeah-- this is all a bit much-- but these plants were already going before we decided to do the Celtic run… so am having to really seriously train these until the CS gets flowering/pollenated… then they can go 12/12 . Gives me time to re-set my ‘mom’ room elsewhere.

I still think people should trade more pollen these days then seeds. I’m waiting for that one special pollen off a male so lovely, off a strain to die for… then I’ll use him as a base male to hit everything I grow with and create a line to goof off with… is THIS the one.? What you guys think of it…?

Not sure… I know he and his sister were a bit on the touchy side, as far as container size and nutes-- got crinkly and twisty… but otherwise healthy… stay compact and ‘stout’… so could be!
Still shaking him every other day…looks to have at least another 2-3 ‘shakes’ worth of buds on him… NOT keeping him around after though… no where safe to keep him where he won’t seed everything we have going…and do NOT want the CS ‘contaminated!!’
With him in isolation- we’re safe… but I need the space he’s in for other stuff…
Will send ya a vial when it’s all done if you want it!

I wouldn’t mind starting a pollen collection. It would allow me to breed without the hassle of isolating a male in my tiny area… you know where I live, in your head… muwahaha.

We only keep pollen when/if we have an empty isolation tent to keep the male in.
We have limited space…and I have to be able to ‘keep up’ with all the plants/strains…
With the Celtic Stone run going-- pretty much everything else is on hold’ so there isn’t any cross pollination going on. Once we see we have some males-- we’ll flip to 12/12 and get the party started- but want the girls to get some size and lots of nodes for buds!!
This male is one of several that ‘showed’ while in the 20/4 room and were moved so they could mature and pop pollen… but we do not do it with very many poly-hybrids… those males we usually just cull.

Yeah-- like we have a nice big manor home with extra bedrooms/bathrooms where we can just stay away from one another.

Hope you and Draig can start getting better soon! Sounds like a really crappy game of tennis you’re playing back and fourth. The mask idea might actually be good if you’re passing it to each other perpetually.

This just blows… I can see how masks might be your only direction to turn to though… I think you only need to wear it within 6ft of each other… difficult to say the least.
