I did my CNA and A+ around 25 years ago but when at my last company had to do all kinds of certs. That’s when I did my CCNA and Cisco Engineer certs. The best part about that job was the variety. I did second level server and POS support. We were servicing a few major banks branches and their data centers. We also had POS customers such as Sunoco and Canadian Tire gas stations, County Style Donuts and McDonald’s. I also ran the bench repair department for a time where I did repairs in TV’s, warranty monitors, PC’s, Laptops. Also all the POS equipment and printers from thermal to laser. I learned allot in those 13 years.
