good to hear from you.

you know the deal. “living the dream”

been busy with work and family. only have a few outdoor plants going. just dusted some caribbean crashers with some atf pollen i won from @DougDawson pollen palace.

got the severe drought going on all the swamps and bogs drying up. lots of people losing their wells.

on the upside it has been really warm and dry september, great for flowering.
no worries for mold been too dry.

did you get that tree all cut up? the home front projects never end i know.

Losing their wells doesn’t sound good. Do they come back when it gets wet or does the equipment get ruined when they run dry?

some will bounce back but a lot of them do not. the equipment is ok most of the time.

it is affecting both the plants and wild life that loose their water source.
trees loosing leaves due to no water saying shut it down for winter.

the yellow jackets / hornets have become terribly vicious. they drove the humming birds off the feeders because its the only water the can find.
the blue berry and raspberry farms crops are getting destroyed. the hornets and wasp and other bug mauling the fruit for the water. hardly any apples. trees dropped them in order to survive. the few ones they kept are tiny and i guess will be tough and not as sweet this year.

the seasons have been wacky for the past few years? and go from one ex stream to another. freezing to boiling wet spring to dry summer and so on.

mother nature seems to balance thing out but gets rough with us. when she is ready after this drought the flooding rains will come and the ground is so dry it will run off / not soak in and give us we we call a gully washer storm. taking out the roads and culverts / bridges. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

the dry warm fall is great for the buds though.

I’m still working on the tree!!
Going to have a nice pile of oak firewood though.

Dry warm fall is great for the flowers. I only have a handful of plants that have survived in spite of me.

Wells going dry sucks!! Well drilling companies are going to be busy
