Durban (Mendocino heirloom)

Does anyone have experience with the Mendocino heirloom version of Durban? I got this strain from a seed trade with an older hippy couple in Mendocino last year that mentioned they had been growing it outdoors there for many years. I just got around to trying the remains of some seeded bud and was surprised at the effects. I’ve tried a dispensary Durban before and it was kind of spicy with a nice energetic effect. This Durban started out with more of a paranoia effect, and eventually settled into a euphoric and mildly energetic experience. There was no crash (which was nice). It also had more of a turpentine smell. I am not sure if its because I let the plants go a little longer to finish up the seeds or if this particular heirloom was selected for different traits than the dispensary Durban.
