To the pros out there, any 2 cents you want to give along the way, I am happy to hear! I want to learn to be the better.

many “freebies” are better that the ones’ you ordered.

Very true! One time I had nothing germinate from an order I think it was Herbie’s? Except the freebies LOL

Updates on the plants, the first four are 907 blue jeans x MOB, the next three are freezeland, and the last three are GHASH x sunshine x consumption.

The other two runts one is a freeze and one is a sour d. Not too much faith in them but I’m not the kind of guy who likes to kill off plants unnecessarily.

Question about why some of the leaves are looking like this:

Bumpity bump

Not 100% sure what causes it but they almost always grow out of it by the next few nodes. I’ve never seen it be an issue. What are the temps and humidity like in your grow area?

Temperature has been a little high, humidity I would say around 65 70. At least it’s high quality beans!

Saw a striped cucumber beetle on my seedlings tonight, very strange as they are indoors. I’m thinking of spraying plants with neem oil, any suggestions on this?

I’ve used neem meal, in my medium I mix up, and neem oil for pests, and found neither worth repeating their use, myself.
I made a half batch of Once N Done, found in here somewhere.
I’ve had FAR better results with this, and it’s all stuff from the health food store.
It is not really a Once N Done, item here for me, so I’ve marked my grow calendar at 6 weeks intervals, to do a spray down with it. It’s far better than doing nothing, or using harsh and VERY expensive chemicals.

I hear very good things about the Dr.Bonner bug remedies, but have no hands on experience.
Just my $.02

Very good advice! About how much neem meal per gallon of medium or do you just follow the box is directions?

I’m using HP with mycohorize, I’ll also spray them with neem oil as they’re a few weeks into veg.

I’m using, well mostly anyway, the Down To Earth products.
Off the top of my old head, I think it was 2 TBLS per gallon of medium/soil for many users.
It was still a OK source of nitrogen, but for bugs, I did not see it as worth while, to my very cheapo budget.
A mulch topping, on my pots, and OnceNDone, seems so far be a decent combo for my area anyway.
HP/Mico is a fine product, I used it for a long time.
A few years ago, I tried SunshineMix#4, and stayed with it, for no real reason, just to mix things up a bit.
I’m down to a bale a year now, with adding coco husks, rinsed brick coco coir. So I can reuse the medium for 2-3 cycles, then out to the veg garden, or into worm bins, it goes.
Cool to see coco husks get turned into worm castings, after it has been used and reused, first!
Sorry to babble, ECOF!!

Mulch topping and coco seems like the way to go! Definitely not rambling, very good advice my friend. I have been fortunate not to see any more of those beetles, but I picked up some neem meal and neem oil, I’m ready if I see another LOL

Freezeland so far and Ghash/consumption/sunshine are already smelling very strong, the MOBx907 Blue jeans is surprisingly mild. Even with the stem rub, almost nothing yet.

Transplanting in the next couple of days, going to add some neem meal for good measure just to show those little bugs not to move in :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey, your line up sounds very nice!!
I got some nice blueberry traits, from ESB, from FluerDeMal, an Oldtimer1 offering, that had a fairly strong blueberry scent when you smoked it.
These sound potent, Ghash/consumption/sunshine good luck with them.
H’mm, I may revisit that gripe of ESB’s also, as the buzz was just a delicious warm blanket type of buzz. Feel good weed!!

I’m into some haze plants right now, and small tent of of things I just wanted to see what they looked like, so I popped them.
Some are just strains, I never heard of, but intrigued me.
Why, I have no good reason, this my list taped to my panda film wall.

The P.Cometa x Huixtepez the 2 look amazing, I’l be doing some pics of them shortly, in a week maybe , right before the trim jail sentence starts.
The Silver Pearl 75, is a stunning ski slope, small lady, but thrilled to have run her, and will revisit the other beans.
Of course the SuperSilverSourThaiNevils, and Australian Out Back’s are the star’s of my gardens, right now. Towering hazes, with some pearl/wheat types, I was hoping for.
I grew out some pearls, 20+ years ago now, but I was NOT seeking that type of buddage like at all!!
It takes an enormous amount to roll a single joint up!
A few days ago now,

Pearl/wheat type, just starting to be so encrusted in diamonds.

Anyway all the best to your bug battle, I’ve come full circle with them.
We as small personal stash growers, need to learn how to keep them at bay, but eradication, is a bit of a pipe dream, IMHO!!
All the best to you and yours!!

This is incredible, what kind of terpenes are you getting for smells? Has it been very long in flower? I have a a plant right now outdoors that hasn’t even begun to show male or female, and some of its Brothers and sisters are almost halfway through flowering LOL.

I think if I get these outdoors, I can probably pull enough to make some seeds/pollen (hopefully! ) which is the ultimate goal so I can have more wiggle room with future runs.

Some of the kind of mystery skunk dog hybrids I have outside are the most vigorous plants I’ve ever seen as far as speed, from germinating I think within 12 hours? to to almost doubling in size everyday while seedlings. I might Chuck some of that onto some of these depending on male to
female ratios. Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:, more to come.

Keep up the good work, I have some new ones that I’m going to pop soon, a super sativa hybrid, hopefully it has some haze traits :grinning:

Also what kind of light bar is that? I bought a real janky one from phlizon dimmer switch needs to be repaired right out of the box. At least they gave me a refund but the one you have looks decent. I don’t want to break the bank but I also don’t want to burn my house down so there has to be a happy median LOL

Had something like this with older seed stock.

What shocks me more then their terpenes, and just how sticky my arm gets by simply brushing by them to do some maintenance by them.
They are so wispy, but so coated, encrusted if you will.
Aromas, are more of a rusty metal smell.
I now want to get a gripe of Tom Hill Haze seeds, and go after the searing high profile, over taste and scent values in his haze breeding projects.

I bought them from GrowLightAustralia, maybe 4-5 years ago now. I got 4 boards, that needed a bit of assembly.
I have smaller HLG’s as well, for my veg areas.

Transplantio my Plantios!

All in roughly 1.75 gallons of pro mix BX with Mycorrhizal fungi, and I added a bit of neem meal to get rid of some unwanted visitors. Additionally, while transplanting I sprayed the vegetation with a neem oil mix with just a little bit of dish liquid to spread out the oil evenly.

WOW, now that is a plant crib, on steroids! LOVE IT!
Looks to be awesome set up!
When you water them, is the run off captured, the way a saucer does?

I usually get a few plants that no matter what I do, they look grumpy, until the roots catch fire, and off they go.

I’ll mix up a tablespoon of Aloe Vera leaf concentrate, mixed the same portion of LAB’s, this will make a gallon or more, of fantastic rooting tonic, for wee plants.

Older leaves never recover, but get pushed out by new ones, and for me, they become green and turgid.
Very nice set up!!
