EastCoastOldFart's Outdoor Grow

Tardy to the party here, but these are regular seeds I got from an excellent grower in Hawaii.

I’m reaching out to him to try to find the name of the strain, definitely a hybrid and rare from what I remember.

They are about 2 months old give or take, I’m using pro mix HP with mycorrhizae. I’m feeding them blue planet liquid nutrients. Just the three part which is grow, Bloom, and micro.

I think these are 2 gallon pots, in a Miracle-Gro janky 6x4 hoop house lol.

Moisture has been a real SOB this summer, got to love climate change with the temperature spikes and dips also , I ended up having to get rid of five Auto Durbans because they were so infected with PM. I even sprayed with a hydrogen peroxide mix a couple times to no avail. these are very resistant strains. Only a couple leaves have had it, for good measure I lollipop anything outdoors to promote air flow.

However, these Hawaiian plants are really strong and resilient. I have never found seeds that grew quicker as seedlings, everyday. They nearly doubled in size! Even in the wettest and coldest times, there very few spots of PM and I just removed the leaves promptly.

Like many of us, I was hoping for a male and ended up getting two! One awesome pheno that shown through smells like ginger freshly cut. The sacks are just starting to open up so I’m probably going to harvest in pollen in a week or so.

For scale, these plants are about 4 to 5 ft give or take, I expect seven footers come September. Likely will have to tie them down and take them out of the ghetto greenhouse or at least train them to fill the entire greenhouse and utilize space, more to follow.

Also, here is one of the fierce protectors, a jumping zebra spider! Keeping all small pests at Bay :slightly_smiling_face:

Pulled pollen off of one of the males, the only way I can describe the pheno from a stem rub is vomit! Vomit and garbage. LOL. Anyone ever encountered this?

Looking good. Are you going to keep the male around for a seed increase?

Vomit and garbage smells pop up. Some people like it and some don’t.
Final smoke is the moment of truth

Many thanks and good point!! Until it’s cured and heck, even lit, hard to say what taste it’s going to have.
Yes I want to at least harvest more of their pollen for future grows, and hopefully just being close to the females will open pollinate them and give me more of these seeds for future runs.
More updates to come soon!

Here is one of them I brought out of the little greenhouse to soak up the rays! Got a hold of the guy I got the seeds from, apparently it’s a skunk dog, he said with a strain called Prince Ohio? Never heard of it
