Tardy to the party here, but these are regular seeds I got from an excellent grower in Hawaii.
I’m reaching out to him to try to find the name of the strain, definitely a hybrid and rare from what I remember.
They are about 2 months old give or take, I’m using pro mix HP with mycorrhizae. I’m feeding them blue planet liquid nutrients. Just the three part which is grow, Bloom, and micro.
I think these are 2 gallon pots, in a Miracle-Gro janky 6x4 hoop house lol.
Moisture has been a real SOB this summer, got to love climate change with the temperature spikes and dips also
, I ended up having to get rid of five Auto Durbans because they were so infected with PM. I even sprayed with a hydrogen peroxide mix a couple times to no avail. these are very resistant strains. Only a couple leaves have had it, for good measure I lollipop anything outdoors to promote air flow.
However, these Hawaiian plants are really strong and resilient. I have never found seeds that grew quicker as seedlings, everyday. They nearly doubled in size! Even in the wettest and coldest times, there very few spots of PM and I just removed the leaves promptly.
Like many of us, I was hoping for a male and ended up getting two! One awesome pheno that shown through smells like ginger freshly cut. The sacks are just starting to open up so I’m probably going to harvest in pollen in a week or so.
For scale, these plants are about 4 to 5 ft give or take, I expect seven footers come September. Likely will have to tie them down and take them out of the ghetto greenhouse or at least train them to fill the entire greenhouse and utilize space, more to follow.
Also, here is one of the fierce protectors, a jumping zebra spider! Keeping all small pests at Bay ![]()
