For shits and giggles, if you already didnt start to button it up, measure continuity from the ground screw to exactly where you got shocked.
If you ran that light with the top off it would prob last quite a bit longer.
I would dissipate the heat better and be a little more efficient and also extend the life of the drivers and LED’s.
Obviously have to be modified a little tho.
I got shocked from the hanger.
I just tested the yellow wire inside an the outside of all the copper pieces that the hanger mounts toTwo out of the four were beeping. I don’t know what that means but I hope it’s good lol
Final call? Might as well button her back up.
Get set-up with the voltmeter. Let us know when you are ready.
I’m callin it a day. I’ll put it all back together tomorrow an plug it in an turn it on an cross my fingers.
Hope all goes well… I’ll reply once I do. Thanks again for everyone’s knowledge. Would have never gotten this far without you guys
The 2 that didnt beep are not grounded, maybe try tighten the hanger mounts or there maybe too much paint to allow for a good ground.
It wont fix the the problem but might prevent further shocks.
I will try an tighten them later today thanks @wolfedawwg
