They’re against vehicles and electricity too, but they’ll rent cars and use generators if need be. Yes, meth seems to be a commonly abused drug in their communities which is common in many rural settings, not just with the Amish.
My buddies uncle (who grows too) is the most personable, fun guy and had this one Amish fella (who he became great friends with) coming over all the time. Well before you knew it a small group of Amish men would stop by routinely to drink, smoke, play darts and party with him on a regular basis. Their little community caught wind of it, had a meeting, and had to ban them from hanging with him lol. I think the one dude would still sneak by on occasion though.
Those communities know what they’re doing when it comes to farming and their weed is no exception.
