Elite and clone only strains with unkown background

Nah, crashed a Yamaha, Hokkaido, Japan, late '60’s, the following week, another AF member rear-ended a Trailer/Cart, killed instantly!!! As a gruesome PSA, the Base Commander had the Security Police display the MC on a Flatbed at the Entrance of the Front Gate (Shock Therapy, I guess). Riding interest waned/eventually disappeared. Plus, thought I was “in love”. Should have stayed on my Bike…lol. Nothing against it, just not for me. SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

“bagseed grown by the Amish”

Really?? I’d love to hear more about that I didn’t know the Amish grew weed lol

If you still have seeds I’m sure a trusted member on here (not me lol) might be interested in making seeds out of them for sharing. Most of us are always looking for interesting and unique things like that!

Yes, I know one that does too and a lot of them also run puppy mills believe it or not…they treat their animals like shit except for their horses…

I thought they were super against cannabis? Man, makes me wish I had been more friendly with the Amish up around Clare, MI.

I know they have issues with stimulants in their communities.

I know Vader from OG seeds went down to Kauai a few yrs back and got a bunch of maui wowie and Kauai Electrics seeds. They’re supposed to have been worked over the years and he did his own preservation project with them. The maui wowie looks incredible, huge sativa spears covered in frost. He says lots of tropical smells come from it. I’ve yet to have space/time for a 10-12 wk strain. I might give em a run in the future.

Sebring had some old school Maui wowie that had been worked since the 70s. It’s called the cherry bomb pheno. I’ve got a couple going now and they’re looking promising, one definitely has a cherry like smell.

@PhilCuisine weird I had no idea…no Amish around here. I do think the Amish babes look cute in those bonnets though haha

I got an ounce of some very bright green buds that were flattened like little beaver tails from a buddy who got them off an Amish grower. They’d obviously been compressed in transport but looked much different than other locally grown or even commercial grade. Smelled strong gasoline too. Well, I managed to find 4 seeds in there. Germinated them and 3 popped. 1 ended up getting eaten by slugs. 2 survived into flower, one was male, the other female. I pulled the male a few days late and was glad I did cause the lady produced 10 seeds for me. Both were stretchier hybrid-type plants, the female produced many golf-ball buds with vigor.

I didn’t think this plant was anything special until I bagan to trim it and the smell changed from gasoline/diesel to a lacquer/paint thinner smell. My eyes were burning and watering so bad while trimming it too. Never had experienced that before or since. The buds lost all the smell once dried and had a light sandlewood smell after the cure. The buds turned a light gold color instead of green. I first smoked a joint of it with my girl and a buddy of mine who had traveled to India and smoked there. Now I’m no lightweight, but half of a joint between the 3 of us had us giggling our socks off! I made a point to save those seeds cause whatever it is, it’s something you don’t come across everyday. This was in 2015, I’ve kept those seeds dry and in cold storage since.

Weed is shunned in their community, but just like with us English it doesn’t stop them. They grow it out in their corn fields and the state and federal governments don’t mess with them. Where they get busted is when they transport it. I think the word they use for it translates to something like “green corn.” I had a buddy who had Amish family and he’d tell me about his grandpa’s grow’s lol.

I would totally love it if someone stepped up and offered to do a preservation run!

Amish run puppy mills are a big problem here, unfortunately. Most of them are pretty kind, warm-hearted people but just like us they have they have their own issues. My landlord’s bulldog came from a mill and has health issues. They don’t track lines and inbreeding is common. Not to mention, the conditions those dogs live in are horrible. Best advice, don’t support it by buying “pure breds” in these dodgy pet stores that sell them. Adopt from the pound or dog wardern, or if you’re dead set on a specific breed by from a reputable breeder with a pedigree of the line.

They’re against vehicles and electricity too, but they’ll rent cars and use generators if need be. Yes, meth seems to be a commonly abused drug in their communities which is common in many rural settings, not just with the Amish.

My buddies uncle (who grows too) is the most personable, fun guy and had this one Amish fella (who he became great friends with) coming over all the time. Well before you knew it a small group of Amish men would stop by routinely to drink, smoke, play darts and party with him on a regular basis. Their little community caught wind of it, had a meeting, and had to ban them from hanging with him lol. I think the one dude would still sneak by on occasion though.

Those communities know what they’re doing when it comes to farming and their weed is no exception.

Lol @ the bonnets. I guess I know why they have such large families now lol.

Don’t let them Amish babes fool you…When those Amish babes leave their town/community they take off their Amish clothes and put on short skirts just like regular English girls, that’s a fact. There’s a Amish town less then 50 miles away from me. Arthur area is home to the largest and oldest Amish community in Illinois.

I have 2 cycles lined up with testers, then I’ll be freed up. I hope someone more experienced offers to run them before that, but I will when the time comes. Actually… I might be able to get to it sooner, keep forgetting that I’m setting up a new veg tent and I’ll have a small area to do mini seed runs sog style. Just harder to do with plants from seed than clones lol.
You have 10 seeds right?

Yes sir, 10 seeds. Not sure how the germ rates will be as they are 6+ years old but I kept them dry and cold so it should help. You’re plenty experienced enough, either they’ll pop for you or they won’t no worries. I remember it being a very easy one to grow. I grew them up in a tree top with a dripping system to give you an idea. If they’re anything like the mother you’re in for a treat.

More referring to the seed making part lol. I mean, let nature take its course I get it. but I only just did my first pollination a couple weeks ago, so seeding is still new to me.
But yea I remember you telling about that tree top grow :joy:

Whenever I’m growing I have to be careful not to make seeds if I don’t want them, but I’m sure the guerrilla perspective can differ a lot from the home or backyard gardener. Totally different strategies with the same end goal in mind.

As far as seed making tips it’s like a pregnant woman, feed her well and provide for the weird cravings lol. Lots of Potassium and Phosphorus like normally in flower, but extra. Boron is one they really like too when getting knocked up. I really am not picky about whether or not males flower earlier than one another. They have 2 weeks from when the first female stigmas (falsely referred to as pistols) display to have their way with her then the males get the chop.

The idea is to give enough time for the seeds to fully develop and not have the plant expend energy on seeds at different stages. Take the girls a week longer than you normally would for harvest without seeds. The result will be that you have some of the fattest, darkest seeds around with bang up germination rates.

The tree top grow lol :joy::joy:. That was a fun year, it worked beautifully but man was it a pain. I really need to dig those pictures out when I get the chance.

Really cool. Hopefully someone can get them going and we can finally stick it to the Amish once and for all lol

That thing in the 1 gallon bag, no clue which elite it is, all I know is it’s about the toughest plant I’ve ever grown and it’s a joy to grow. Front running candidates are cheetah piss and NorCal Dosi, she’s got some funk in veg. and early flower, but it’s not cat piss. The dosi I grew from seed was sweet and pleasant in veg. :man_shrugging:

Some cuts of macdaddy, Donnie burger, and cereal milk S1 down front in cups while I wait the more plugs
