When you are making clones like that, you need to wait until the clone starts to grow in the cloner, before you move it into soil. The alternative has been laid out where you cover the clone with a plastic dome to prevent desiccation.

Ya but I started this grow in that same soil when seedlings I haven’t added anything to it I’m just struggling feel like chopping everything n restarting lol if the wife allows me to keep trying lol I had 5 males I culled n saved the soil I remember the other bag it was coconut choir so ya earthworm castings Coco choir an miracle grow i know I know miracle grow it’s all they had
They were in cloner for 16-18 days had plenty of roots when transplanted leafs etc were all healthy nice n green

That’s what I was thinking also Mo but I put my hands in there for few minutes an didn’t feel the heat but I’m sure during 18 hours theyd got hot IDK thank u for suggestions n ideas as I don’t wanna do this again lol

I would think the soil was absorbing that heat and it got hotter than the air surrounding the plants. You didn’t feel uncomfortable but if the dirt heated up too much I can see where they would have issues.

Ya I fealt no heat even the plastic solo cups were not warm or hot that why I was like WTF did the wife take a blow dryer to em cause they in her bathroom lol but she wouldn’t do that

Ok after rechecking everything it was definitely the lights under clones went n checked em again n I must’ve been really baked to not feel the heat

Today is a learning day for us both. Mine is not so irritating but still something I needed to learn. No plants lost but they wanted more CAL/Mag than I was offering them and were not happy. lol
