ok so I was wrong, he doesnât have to pay for it since itâs free and open source, and he has it installed on his own server, so he isnât paying for the high-priced âenterpriseâ version that Discourse hosts.

If you do an IP trace of this site you will see that it is on a shared server with one other site, and it is a site about bitcoin mining called staker.cz, that is owned by a person named edited xxxxxx dont post names please (and registered to All High Seeds SRO) who was apparently involved in a bitcoin site that got âhackedâ

Tracing an IP will not give you the actual site unless that country uses a fixed IP address. Also considering that weed is illegal in most countries and that amazon sure as shit isnt going to happily host a website about drugs, it shouldnt come as a surprise that we might share servers with other illegal or dodgy activities. (Plus its been know by many that the server is registered in Czechoslovakia and or registered to a Czech person.)
The old OG got shut down because the servers / owners where state side and could be busted. Its a lot trickier trying to take down a site that hosted in another country.
Your post really seem to be implying that its dodgy or joe is??

If you ping this site it will give you the IP address of 94.142.233.32. When you do a search of all sites on that same server you get this result:
two sites, and the site is a bitcoin site
There have been many claims in this thread that this could not possibly be on a shared server, and this proves that theory wrong.

If you think that is all that has been going on in this thread you havenât been reading enough. Go back and re-read this thread and you will note that there have been many concerns regarding how this site is presented to the community vs the reality of the fact that it is a business, among many other valid concerns. Appealing for funds while making it seem like it is a community is misleading, and many people feel taken advantage of with all of the âserver fundraisersâ that have been going on lately.

Just keep crying then. I couldnt care less if Joe is spending money on cocaine and hookers. My experience with image heavy forums is that it chows up a bunch of usage which costs money. If theyâre making extra on the side well good for them. Well deserved for keeping this site up and running with pretty much no issues besides whiners.

Again, you must not be reading this thread carefully enough, because if you go back and read my posts I have said MANY TIMES âmore powerâ to joe for being able to figure out how to get this going and keep it running, I have no issue with people making money of off their hard work, however it is being presented as a non-profit type of community-driven thing when in reality it is a for-profit business model. I have seen many people scoffing at the idea that Joe does this for money, they could never even imagine that to be the case and how dare anyone suggest that to be the truth, so some people are unknowingly buying in to the lie that is being presented.

How the fuck do you know this? You did a half assed IP search. Found the server, which is you know a thing for hosting websites (take note of the plural form of website), and you see 2 sites? So more than one website is hosted on that server. Now you are saying 1+1 = 3 and that means they are related in aany way??? A single server can host many websites that have got fuck all to do with each other.
